I have always been the kind of person that viewed other people's religions with respect. I was watching Real Time the other day and Bill Maher said that a religion reaches an all time low when it literally promises virgin pus*y in the afterlife. You know that is pretty pathetic. The Koran says if a person is a good Muslim, when they die they get 72 virgins. (Do the women get 72 male virgins? LOL) Question: How far would you go to prove that you are open-minded, evolved and accepting of other people’s religions? What if part of their worship was drinking urine? Would that be enough for you to say "OK these are a bunch of damned fools!” What if it promised that members would grow wings and fly even as a human beings? What if it said that after you died you would get a sex with 72 people..oops that one's not hypothetical LOL. So what would you need to observe a religion and say/think, "These people are idiots" Or would you never say/think that about anyone's religion no matter what?

its very true, and i can even tell a person about his or her previous life. i had this since i was very young, and i am not even a religious or spiritual person by any means. however i now never talk about it to my friends or family because they call me a nutcase. but deep within me i know that i am true to myself.

recently i told a person all about his previous life and even proved it by giving him the places and people whom he lived with , and mind you i never even knew this person befor i met him. he too was suprized.

i now worry that this condition is an evil trait in me to read other peoples lives.
am afraid, and can you please help me?

Why does the Bible say God is the all knowing, almighty, all powerful creator, yet lessen Him by giving him bad human qualities? (Such as anger, jealousy, grudge-holding, needy of our worship, etc.)

If God is the almighty creator, he does not NEED anything, he does not waste time on being jealous, angry, and holding grudges. Does anyone else think religeon lessons the true God?

Is it:
*That stupid temple thing where they learn secret 'handshakes', get a 'secret name' and funny pajamas?
*Wearing that ridiculous full-body underwear to show that they know the secret handshakes and that they've recieved their secret name?
*Babtizing people after they've died, including the murdering tyrants Stalin, Hitler and Mao?
*Babtizing Jewish people after they've died? (Jews really hate this)
*Preaching that Native Americans descended from Jews?
*Preaching that ALL other religions are an "abomination" and their preachers "corrupt"?
*Something I've forgotten?

Etheist are the people who doesnot beleive in the God, as far as I know. In world. every thing you see ,has its own creator, then who created the God, Who is eternal and who has created the world. I have no aswer for this and i m amazed. I m thinking that in which way i can answer this question so that I can prove the eternity of God. I just want to say that nobody Created the God but i dont know how to say.

Three Messiahs?—or One?
Three religions—Christianity, Islam and Judaism—look for a coming Messiah. Yet they differ in their view of who this will be and what he will do upon his return.

These are two different questions that I know. No need to tell me all that

The USA press makes is seem like the only things Islamic people do is work and religion. What else do you do? The press makes it seem like all you live for is your religion and that you are always mad as the USA for not respecting your religion.

"First of all, blind faith is simply stupid. One cannot follow a religion because they KNOW it's true, because of some feeling deep in their heart. They should because they have the neccesary evidence that proves it."

The Silent Wind of Doom

Oh, really? Where is the room for faith if religion makes perfect sense? I defy you to name a 'rational' religion. You won't find one.

And on that note, Some insist in believing there is no God, no heaven, nothing but death with oblivion at the end. Is that really something to be proud of? Really, if you believe that then you have my pity. That's the most depressing thing I've ever heard.

I shudder to think about what happens to hope and human ambition. Why believe in silly little things like going to medical school or raising a family? (making more corpses, eh?) It all means nothing in the end. There is no afterlife. All you are is maggot meat.

You can guess what happens to morality. :P

How can you live without faith?

I really feel that relativism's declaration that no absolutes exist is seriously wrong. Moreover, it limits its own reliability, because it contradicts itself by claiming that nothing is definite(i.e. it itself is not a definite philosophy) So in a way, I think it's a paradox that perverts the truth. You agree?
