I have no aswer for this and i m amazed. I m thinking that in which way i can answer this question so that I can prove the eternity of God. I just want to say that nobody Created the God but i dont know how to say.

I dunno! I can't explain how I was created yet, so I can't possibly be trying to figure out how the earth and the universe and God his/her self was created. Whoa....slow down.

How did a sperm and an egg become two eyes, two ears, ten fingers and ten toes, a brain (can't even explain how the brain works yet...let alone create it), and the liver and kidneys and on and on we go. Then figure out how they all work in unison, assuming you can create the human being.
No no no...I can't figure out myself....I don't dare try to figure out God.

Good luck with that!

Man created God. The bible is a story that a lot of different people over hundreds of years wrote trying to explain the then-unexplainable. Why is there an Adam and Eve? Because people didn't know about genetics, etc. Try to think about the logic behind the stories. Do you truly believe that there was a flood that lasted for 40 days and 40 nights leaving only two of each animal? Where did the dinosaurs come from? Why is money such a big issue in the church (tithing and whatnot)? Just please try and think about things like this. Educate yourself, and learn to spell atheist.

I'm an atheist and one answer that I recieved to that question was interesting. I'll try to reproduce it, but I heard it at 2 am after more than a couple drinks.

God exists beyond the universe as we know it. Some aspects of God do not have to be logical like everything in our universe does. Therefore, there is absolutely nothing imaginable in our universe that is beyond god, even concepts like eternity and creation. God is above such concepts as these, which exist only in our universe. God can be and do whatever the heck he wants, because even such things and being and doing are not enough to capture his capability. (I keep using a male pronoun even though that's wrong!) We humans can't be expected to understand God, because God is utterly beyond our realm of experience.

While this sounded intruiging, I found it unconvincing, since such a god may as well not exist for us, since we can't hope for any sort of interaction with one. Prayer and religion and morality wouldn't matter, heck people wouldn't matter, to something as grand and extra-universal as that. My conversation partner smiled and contended that God's love transcended any human reasoning as a matter of course, at which point I began getting a headache. I had to concede the point so I could lay down for a bit. I never got to finish that argument, but I have a nagging feeling that such an argument can never convince someone who doesn't already believe it since it doesn't use logic to make it's argument, so I don't think it's actually useful. Just thought I'd share.

I sent this to one of the Assistant Ministers at my church and this was his response.

This is a question that we have to apply the idea of actual infinite vs. the potential infinite. The problem lies in the question, "Does everything have a creator?" No, not everything. That would be impossible. If everything has a creator that means that something would have to exist before that creation and that would go back to a time of negative infinity, which is impossible. The position we hold is that for anything to exist now in space/ time, something or someone had to exist prior. That means an actual infinity. We believe God reveals that to us when He says, I AM THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER. That is an actual infinite. Logic compels us to say that for anything now to have existence, there must have been an uncaused cause that began the process for creation.

God is not limited by space. Anything which occupies space is limited by time. Therefore God is not limited by time. God has no beginning and no end. Consider this...you know how some people have out of body experiences where they die for a few seconds and then return because their time was not up yet? Well, I read about someone's experience on this matter and the person mentioned that when he/she was in the spiritual realm, it was as if time stood still, as if there was no concept of time. In the physical dimension nothing lasts forever. In God's spiritual dimension, souls have no beginning and no end. Our souls, our true selves, are never born and never die, just as God was not born and will never die.

I guess an even harder question to answer is who created the world and matter if there is no creator.

God is eternal - he has always existed. I guess if we could understand everything about God we would be God.

God was not created because...God is the Ultimate Creator of all things!

It's true. God is above all and there is no higher being that could have created God.

You can point out to them that while everything in the physical universe has to have come from something else, logically nothing should exist and so there must be an uncaused first cause of all matter and that is God.
