They came about when God scattered mankind across the face of the world after He confused the languages of men at the tower of Babel.
Genesis 11:5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built. 6 And the LORD said, "Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. 7 Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another's speech." 8 So the LORD dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city.

read Genesis again and God created the races on the 6th day and he made them male and female and it was good, and then he rested on the 7th day, now on the 8th day he realized he had no one to work the ground all the others were hunters and fisherman, so he created Adam and eve, Now the reason they say Eve is mother of all living, is because Christ and the chosen people the Jews would come out of Adams line! And salvation would come through the Jews in the NAME OF JESUS! So all who believe in Jesus will live for all eternity, that's why she is called the mother of all living, eternal life. forever
