you are quite ignorant, remember USA is the only country in the history of this earth to have used a nuclear bomb. People are still suffering from the mistake a pilot made. You don't want to say things that you don't want to happen. peace to you

Only 10 million? for the cost of the average 100Mt nuke, I'd expect at least 60 million otherwise it would be poor value for money.
You'd need about 20 more spare bombs though, for use after other countries decide that they want to commit suicide too by attacking you. The middle east might not be a good holiday area for the following 30 years.

I will never support the nuking of an Muslim nation. We must have Nukes because other nations have them.Nukes. can be used on a Navy or Army advancing on a city, but never on civilians. If we attacked first it would cause a major American city to be wiped out.Would you rest without seeking revenge? They will get the nukes at any cost and use them. And yes China or Russia will help for one reason to gain power. How can we trace were the Arabs got the Nukes.

Are we allowed to honestly answer this question without anyone going in a cream puff and running to Headmaster Yahoo!... Sir! Sir! he wrote that about us... anyway.. I am not an American - but the next best thing - British .. and I feel that the inevitable may about to happen - Iran is not playing the game properly and is in serious danger of putting its innocent population in a Boil in the Bag situation...The UK, US and the rest of the peace & freedom loving nations are sick of living in fear of Mad Mullahs threatening non-Muslims.. It is a shame that Peace loving Muslims are being tarred with the same brush as these people - but it is up to them to rise up and expell them from the Mosques etc... and convince them that terror is no way of life and there is no Allah in Valhala waiting for them to pat them on the back for blowing themselves and innocent people up.

I don't think the majority of Americans would care too much. I think they'd be very happy. You never know, maybe they'll come out and say we finally killed OBL, but in doing that, we accidentally killed 10 million other "collateral" casualties.
Look at what happened to Hiroshima and Nagasaki. In fact, these incidents have been celebrated by Americans as proof of America's mighty power, but what about the human loss of life?
Realistically speaking, I think Israel would probably need to be nuked first (totally annihilated) before the US does anything like that, but I don't believe the Bush Administration would think twice about doing it. It's like "nuke 'em first, then ask questions".

Since J.Carter days I have wanted to carpet bomb Iran with 100 megaton war heads!
just to give Iran that nice green glow!
I don't know if we have enough right now to do the job, but if we put 100,000 to work on it right now today, we could do it in 4 or 5 years!
We could also start now, and build and drop as we go tell the job is done!
I vote for that one!

It will never be done. If, for some reason, we DID do it, then we would be immediatly bombed by Russia and China. Then we would return fire and the world would be nuked. So I don't think I'd think much of anything, since I'd be dead.
I would never support the nuking of ANY Country for ANY Reason.

Heck, I'm American but I don't support the war in Iraq, nor any other pending military action. The bush doctrine of pre-emptive war is just killing the US economy and sucking us into WWIII. The part that really sucks is that I'm eligible for the draft...
Who's next? Korea? China? Pakistan? Iran? Who knows...

I wouldn't support that idea. I hate the loss of innocent life, but in brutal honesty, saying all that, I might also feel just a tiny bit of relief.
