I've heard beautiful testimonies explaining how God has blessed Believers with physical healing, renewed relationships, and more. However, how has God disciplined you with love, allowing you to grow and change? How did you feel during the discipline? If you felt alone, when did you realize God was always there, and clearly see what he was trying to teach? What did you learn? If you were stubborn, or needed to be humbled, how firm was your discipline?

What do you think of religion? Its uses, is it easier to put blame on the invisible, than on yourself? Is it easier to blame the devil on the mistakes that you made, then on yourself? Is it easier to thank an unseen force, for your achievements, than your own hard work?

About Me

King kansa very well knew, from the prophecy, that the eighth child of his sister devki, would slay him. Then how could he allow not one but eight children of devki to be born , when the couple was his captive. It is told that he considered killing his sister or his brother-in-law would be a great crime.ok.But ,He could very well have kept devki and her husband in different quaters to avoid any possiblity of any children being born. Normally also, male and female prisoners are kept separate. Then, what could be the justification for him allowing them both into one single jail quarter? And surprisingly, above that ,devki and her husband could do 'all that stuff' in midst of prison for atleast 8 years..this is not believable.

If Chrisitans followed the same kind of doctrine that the Quran teaches then wouldn't the Crusades have been right? I mean if you look at it, Chrisians were the first to be killed because of their belief. Then you have Muhamad who killed thousand of Christians and Jews. So if Christians followed the same kind of peaceful doctrine that the Quran teaches, wouldn't the crusades have been right in God's eyes.

Seems like there will never be peace in the middle east as long as the Jewish people are there... Wouldn't it be better if we gave them Florida or Cuba and left the Islamic wierdos alone???

It could be anything from something believed in ones family or some doctrine that adds or takes away to / from God's Word. Or just a thought in your own head you discern as a 1/2 truth.

My hometown just blew a nice piece of change to erect a graven image of a religious slogan in our City Hall.
I don't have a problem with the Judeo/Christian superstitions but, by displaying the palcard "In God We Trust", does this translate into unfair treatment for other religions?
I was under the impression our system was set up to respect all religions, this leads me to believe we don't respect the "non-God" guys.

Last night, I answered a question on here regarding evolution, and another answerer gave a link for the creationist site www.drdino.com. I went there, and they use archaelogical evidence vaguely so that it benefits their creationist position. Do all creationists do this?

These superstitions have caused more turmoil and death than any other single reason on Earth.
Isn't it time that humans stop believing in the hocus-pocus world of mystical stories?
Isn't it about time, we to start being responsible for our own actions and quit blaming unseen idols.

Muslims have assaulted and even murdered Christians since the Pope (not even a leader of my Protestant Christianity) asked Muslims to please agree not to use violence to propagate religion.
Christians are asking for basic human rights to life, liberty and free speech, and for Muslim leaders to condemn violence committed by their members in the name of Islam.
The proof is in the facts on the ground. Islam is the worship of lawlessness: rape, bombing, and murder! Disprove this, Muslims, by acting to stop the violence!
I do not wish to hear from persons of other or none religion than Islam, please.

Why is that religious people believed they are so much better or higher up than those that don’t believe in God or Jesus? What gives you the right to say that I’m wrong and you’re right? Why do you hand pamphlets out on street corners, to me it seems like your acting like telemarketers, interrupting people as there going through the day. Why do believe that one religion is superior over the other? Aren’t beliefs things that are held personal?
Do you believe in live and let live?

Why do you always try and convert other who don't see your line of thinking?

What does this show if Atheism is such a horrible thing?

That means the other ones are religeous and god does not care if you kill or rape just as long as you say you are sorry to him.

I would like to move into a community full of people who believe in the same things that I do. I’m tired of being the only one in my neighborhood, and being troubled by Christians, Muslims, Jehovas witnesses, who are all competing for my soul. It’s a lonesome feeling, and I want to live in a community full of people who believe in the same things that I do. Is there any place like that in Illinois?

I'd like a Christian pov most likely.

I was born with hearing loss(not deaf thankfully) balance probs, swollowing probs speech probs, poor estrogen reproduction(on hormone replacement therapy. I don't even get aroused or have no sexual feelings), incurable gas prob tha docs can't find a cure for and bad gassy stinky odors. Ok Ok they're mild I'm not complaining. My question is:

Would God give me all this to keep me from getting married or what?
