If only everyone believed in this - practiced this... wouldn't the world be a greater place to live? One day, the way the world is going, the way that "we" as humans treat it - there will be no earth to practice or even fantasize about this.

Though I agree with protecting the earth and its resources, conserving energy, saving our forests and wildlife, I will not give thanks to the earth for the bounty and blessings I have been given. I will [and do] give thanks to Almighty God for the blessings He has bestowed on all of mankind. We should all do everything within our power to make sure that we do not harm the planet and preserve its natural resources for all of the generations to come. God gave us dominion over the planet and all the things on it. It's our God-given responsibility to take care of it.

That's very nice.

I am pretty sure all relgions require humans to be stewards of the earth, not consumers of the earth.

You know, your commandments were all practiced by those " savages" the North American Indian, so us civilized people had to nearly wipe them out, because we knew better!
