Christians make up about 75% of the US population and 75% of the US prison population. No big surprise there.
Atheists, on the other hand, make up about 10% of the US population... but they only make up 0.2% of the US prison population. Now, isn't THAT a surprise? That means that atheists are FIFTY (50) times LESS LIKELY to be incarcerated than Christians. Pretty strange, huh, for a group that has no god-given guiding moral principals?
I can think of only two possibilities that might reasonably be said to account for this discrepancy:
1. Atheists are of a higher ethical and moral caliber than Christians, and thus are less prone to do the same kinds of nasty things that land so many Christians in the slammer;
OR,
2. Atheists are, overall, a lot smarter than Christians and thus, they are less likely to get caught in the course of their transgressions.
It's GOT to be one or the other... take your pick.

Atheists, unlike Christians have to face what they did, their sins are not forgiven because 'Jesus' died for their sins.
We don't go to confession, and walk out with a clean slate and mind just to go out and do the same things again and again.
Why did the Catholic Priest molest little boys in such massive amounts? Because all they had to do was pray to god and Jesus and their sins were forgiven.
Non-believers are logical and use common sense. We don't follow a cruel heartless god dogmatically. We don't follow a bible that demands that others be killed or wiped out by giant flood waters. We don't kill or sacrifice our own children for a non-existent God.

I'm an atheist and am also don't care for people trying to put it down, but, does that percentage take into account that we're a minority, by a lot? I'm sure the results would be similar no matter what just because atheists usually think things through (hence them being atheists) so would be less inclined to commit a felony, but we still have to be fair.

good judgment has no longer something to do with it, being a prisoner of religion could suck however. i could no longer even think of looking down opon somebody no longer to show killing them because of the fact they did no longer have self belief in the comparable God,good judgment and ideology as me. now it is illogical, yet I even have got here across the i'm an Atheist, is the suitable weapon against the Jehovah witness and Saint Latter days that take place on your door step, if there's a God i will manage him whilst the time comes, he would be welcome in my homestead. merely dont proceed to exist it, a while will come, then you somewhat'll know for useful.

Perhaps it means that there are many more religious people than atheists. Of course, this will be proportional with every statistic that anyone can come up with.
Your conclusion is not necessarily justified.
