Seems like there will never be peace in the middle east as long as the Jewish people are there... Wouldn't it be better if we gave them Florida or Cuba and left the Islamic wierdos alone???

Interesting stalinist idea (don't worry, I know you're not serious).
Stalin ACTUALLY did this. He created a republic in the far east of the soviet union, just north of North Korea which he called "The Jewish Autonomous Republic" with the intent of moving all the Soviet Jews there. It's a cold, barren place.
Despite the fact that the vast majority of people now living there are not Jewish (just over 1% are), the region is now in Russia and is STILL known as the Jewish Autonomous Republic.

Yes. The whole reason for the conflict is because pro-settlement terrorists, (arial sharon was one) infiltrated palestine with the help of the british and started the process of invading it to recapture a homeland for wayward jews. The only reason they are there is because the europeans and americans wanted to get rid of the jews in the first place, at the expense of the palestinians that were living there already. Will remain a critical firepoint in the world for many years to come, unless the area gets nuked by extremists.

Raymond there will be peace between Jews and Arabs only when Israel realize that they can't keep the Palestinians under occupation for ever. There will be no violence and infact with this approach they will cut off the recruits of Al Qaeda.
Jews and Arabs are living in that region from the begining of civilization who have more common culture and tradition to share. The problem is that majority of the Israel Jews are European origin who do not understand the region culture or traditions.

The present state of Israel has belonged to the Jewish People for over 5000 years. That is a lot longer than Islam has been around.

It would be better to give all people the ability of listening, understanding, literary skills and responsible governance. Land will always be there but not the many fleeting lives of temporary residence.

Well - in 1948 there wasn't a compeling enough reason to give the Jews Alaska - but my grandfather claimed West Palm Beach, FL for the Jews already ;-).
