Is it because of the way he was born? Eventhough the birth of Jesus(PBUH) by the virgin Mary(PBUH) was a miracle but Adam(PBUH) had no mother or father;so why Jesus(PBUH) and not Adam(PBUH)?

It's the belief in the New Testament that brings this to fruition. It states Jesus is the son of God. If you don't believe the New Testament, then you would just believe he was a prophet as I assume you do.

At the time of Jesus it was not unusual certain Jews of certain sects to call themselves the son of God. It was part of the pagean corruption of Judaism that Christianity allowed that turned this into Jesus as the "Son" of god. There is no writing every found before or after Jesus that shows that the concept of the Messiah should have been a "son" of God. That has always been an issue that Jews demonstrate for their rejection of Jesus as being "the one."

The reality is this particular debate does not matter because it will only be settled when the Messiah does show again and says this if the first time I have been here or this is the second time and I am the Son of God or not (or I came that way the first time).

Its interesting what the bible says, however in the Quran, god says that he blew life into virgin Mary`s womb. In a sense he is the creator of Jesus(PBUH) but not his father.
