How his death on the cross paid our debt to god for our countless sins. To sin is to own god a debt, jesus died on the cross to pay that debt for anyone who would turn from sin and be born agin.
I hope i'm just being dumb about this and one day I will truly get it, but I would be a lier if I said I did.
Love god with all your heart and mind and soul.
I love him with all my heart and soul, but my mind rebels.
I can't logicly make sinse of it.
Is it an extention of offering sacrfices to him as in the old tesoment? He sacrficed him self-ok good.
But how did it work in the old tesoment?
Give up somthing important to us to show god we are sorry.
how could he do it for us?

...always punish her for nothing!! I told her about her rights but she said that it's not a matter in her religous and she should try to make her husband calm! Is there any muslim here to tell me about women rights in their religous??

psalms 83:18 says that the most high is Jehovah. the lords prayer opens with 'let your name be sanctified'.
so why do you still go about refering to Him as God, Father and Lord when you could be using His actual name Jehovah?

Do you think that all people from a ranch hand to a tycoon are equal in their attributes. That each human being is given certain aspects that make them all equal. (keep in mind that im not saying that all people use the god given attributes but still would you say all people have equal ones matter it be smart, athletic or something else?)

I once heard my hubby and his lover quoting scriptures from the bible to justify their affair e.g 1 John 2:19,Psalm 1.Even biblical teachings from evangelistic preachers who even I listen to.Does God stand in agreement with that?

He calls me evil and wicked because I said that I will no longer be the one put in the firing line when he does not live up to his promises esp concerning financial matters

Can't you just tell they are really hot about the rapture, not because they get to go to heaven, but because all the sinners will be punished by God when he sends his human faced locusts after us or turns explodes our intestines with a word during Armageddon?

So webster is biblically wrong about the soul. It is the physical being. It doesn't animate the body, the spirit does. The biblical soul is not a spirit! The bibilical soul is a person an persons are physical. If this isn't the soul, then the soul doesn't exist then!

At what age did you notice your child or little sister or brother or niece or nephew knowing about God? Did you find out in a suprising way?

I ask because when my daughter was barely able to speek we hadn't been tor church and didn't really speak much about God. (We weren't Christians yet) Well I was at my mothers house and she looked up at a picture of Jesus on the wall and said "God" "Mommy it God" I was suprised because none of us had discussed that with her. I know the picture of Jesus probably didn't look what the real Christ did, but somehow she related it to God.
