The bible seems to allude that there are different levels of punishment in hell aside from eternal separation from God.
If I were to imagine in my human mind what those levels may be, i would think that the deepest torment would go to those who openly and actively accepted saten as their master.
Next might come the I dont believe in anything except death and see no reason to do any good while alive.
Next might come the I dont believe in fairy tales of heaven or hell, just be good while alive and all will work out in case there is something else.
Just my thoughts, not biblical on the levels anyway.

dante's inferno talks about the 9 circles of hell. the deeper the circle, the more serious the sin. (and then there are sub-circles within the circles.) the 9th circle is traitors (judas, brutus, and cassius.)
dante has very clear and specific descriptions on who goes where so depending on the label put on the sinner, that's where he goes.

read Dante's Inferno.. it's a play/ farce about hell, in it 7 layers are described with the 7th and deepest reserved for betrayers.
it's alot like the tantric hell.

It's all the same sentence...mass murder or looking at a pretty girl brings down the same eternity of hell. Some justice, eh?

Don't believe in the Biblical Hell. In revelations we see that the evil will be cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death!

Jesus taught that you should worry about the beam in your own eye before worrying about the speck in Osama's eye.

There are degrees of punishment in hell just like there are degrees of rewards in heaven. People will be treated just like they treated others and God when they were on this earth. The meaner they were, the more punishment they receive. Are you sure you are going to heaven?
Maybe this will help.
How to be Saved from Your Sins!
The Holy Bible in Hebrews 11:6 says “But without faith it is impossible to please him (God); for he that cometh to God must believe (have faith) that he (God) is, and that he (God) is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (God).” Parentheses mine!
The only way you can be saved from your sins and go to heaven when you die is to, by faith, acknowledge that the Lord Jesus Christ is the only true and living God (Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus {that Jesus is Lord} and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believed unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”). You must acknowledge the fact that the blood Jesus Christ shed for you at Calvary is the only thing that can forgive, remove and cleanse you from all you sins. You must, by faith, acknowledge you are a sinner (Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” and Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”) needing forgiveness of all your sins and turn from all your sins to live for Jesus Christ the rest of your life. You must, by faith, ask Jesus Christ to forgive all your sins and invite Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life to live there forever. (John l :12 But as many as received him, to them gave he the power to come sons {children} of God, even to them that believe on his name.” You must, by faith, give your heart and life to Jesus Christ to live for Him day by day. You must then, by faith, seek to please Him, love, honor and obey Him as best you know how. All of this is what is meant when the Lord Jesus Christ said: “Jesus answered, and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto, Except a man be born again , he cannot see the kingdom of God (go to heaven).” You were born physically into your earthly family. To go to heaven you must be born again spiritually into your heavenly family, God's spiritual family. Salvation is a free gift. You cannot work for it. You cannot be good enough to earn it. You must, by faith, receive it as a free gift. (“8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.”) Ephesians 2:8-9.
You must learn to read The Holy Bible to learn how to live for Him. If you never have, I pray you will do all this today, without delay. YOU CAN TALK TO JESUS CHRIST JUST LIKE YOU WERE TALKING TO ANYONE ELSE. HE IS A PERSON JUST LIKE YOU, EXCEPT, OF COURSE, HE IS HOLY AND SINLESS.
