Muslim women have no rights.

Whomever taught them their form of Islam was misinforming them. All the muslim women I know (one of them being my mom) are strong willed, and rule over their husbands--not the other way around.

EDIT: The Bible has similar passages in which women are indicated as property. Both the Bible and the Quoran were written in a time in which this was true. It's just that some fundamentalist societies choose to follow their religion too literally.

What does the Bible say about not judging others people?

it is extraordinary whilst people say i might desire him to have a 2d spouse than cheat on me, as though they are the only 2 strategies. Is that how pathetic adult males are starting to be? You the two settle for them getting yet another spouse or they cheat on you. on the instant that's an argument of desperation to alter right into a 2d/0.33 of fourth spouse, no longer a remember of honour so no i does no longer. and that i might wish I go away my husband if he became to try this, yet you are going to be sure which you do the desirable of your ability that earlier you marry you're notably advantageous he does no longer. I incredibly have basically ended (possibly quickly if he variations) some thing with a potential husband because of the fact he needs to maintain the alternative of polygamy open for himself. short term discomfort long term excitement. there are preparation on the thank you to sidestep it however, for sure be a competent spouse, yet additionally marrying out of your community the place you're the two conventional, a guy will lose credibility if he breaks up his family contributors for yet another woman. Be self sustaining financially so which you would be able to threaten to go away if he does, put in your settlement that he's not allowed, reason breaking a promise is a sin in Islam. @Zoya- i'm getting what you're saying yet i'm no longer a romantic the two. all the adult males i've got ever conventional, be it my family contributors (its notably enormous), or family contributors friends and all the adult males interior the community have all been monogamous, no cheating the two. I incredibly have under no circumstances come for the time of a guy who's polygamous or has cheated. people go on approximately technology and guy's nature despite if it is not modern around assorted people. of path there are various adult males who cheat yet they tend to no longer be religious, they have no self administration in something. As for guy's nature to be polygamous, then why became the 1st guy Adam (as) given in straightforward terms one spouse, arguably in a time whilst polygamy became necessary the main, for procreation applications.

yes we are allowed but with limits!

it should be done for the sake of changing wrong behaviors (to what is right)!
but:

in first place , we are asked to treat them kindly and convince them, then in second place, if they refused we should separate in bed (the same bed but separate), in third we can hit if they insisted on the wrong, but with something that doesn't cause injury, like a pen or a small thing) not like the fights taking place nowadays with hitting on face, biting, and hitting with things that cause injury.

the problem is that most men jump from number 1 to number 3 (because men you know! is hard to do number two), and also some men hit their wives to take revenge or for no reason or causing an injury... all of this is wrong men should follow the steps (in the same order, and give enough time for a change) as Allah ordered us.

here is a link about if the man have the right to hit his wife or not:

was married to an Egyptian Muslim when I was 20. Everything went well for a year; then we went to visit his Family in Cairo and Saudi Arabia; suddenly he started complaining about everything then one night he started slapping me. I did fight back because that was new to me; then his mother told me it was ok to be whipped by her son.
As soon as I landed back in the US, I told him bye. I filed for divorce the very next day.
I am 'brutally' against any man beating up on a woman; any religion that says different is not true. Now about what the Quran says about the subject, I will discuss it privately with anyone who dares email me.

not true. islamic law permits the husband to guide his wife to the correct ways (or discipline if she needs it-not talking about manners but religious discipline.) so no your friend's husband is using western/cultural crap to give himself the excuse of hitting her. Islam FORBIDS the hitting of wives. that's the fact not the media interpretation. your friend is also ignorant about her own religion. she needs to learn the truth rather than allow her husband to commit a sin. tell her to go to the mosque and get the facts.

Yes, both the Old Testament and the Quaran allow wife beating. However, the West has evolved both doctrines into the 21st century. The Middle-East is stuck in Middle-Ages.

They will tell you that Muslim women have 10,000 more rights than Christian women.

Your Muslim friend knows the truth.

Try to get her to report him, but if you are in a Muslim country, they will not believe her.

If he finds out that she is talking to you, he can forbid her from doing that as well.

I will Pray for her.

Peace!

if she lives in the western world, it does not matter what their religion is. its illegal and you should talk to her about reporting it. but do not do it for her without her permission.

EDIT

i repeat, do NOT do anything if she doesn't give you permission. no matter what other people say, they aren't rational. if you call the police, she will just deny that her husband is abusing her, the police will leave, and who do you think her husband is going to blame? HER. and he is going to take out his anger about being humiliated on HER. this happens all the time.

unfortunately this is true. They also beat their children and often cripple them for minor offenses. It's very tragic. The Muslim man should be a feared person.

We have many family friends who are Muslim, I have watched these men worship their wives. They have told me that their religion tells them that the wife MUST be happy for their family to thrive.
