What happens if people read each others emails and yahoo answers questions and yahoo answers emails,

and they see the other persons ideas,

and they allow those ideas to be in their head, bouncing off the ideas that they had before, and the ideas are in there bouncing off one another, and slowly people change and grow,

is this not the mansions of thought we all desire?

Or is your mind a church with the doors closed, and your mind preaches to the choir. Yours is a church built on quick sand and it will sink.

Mine is a mansion built on rock. Solid.

Share with me an idea, in through the door it will come, and float around, and touch my other thoughts, and touch my soul, and forever I will be

changed

isn't it a sign of weakness when a religious figure criticizes other religions and religious beliefs rather than preaching his own religion??

Hello. I just wrote a question about becoming prolife and I was surprised as to how many people seem to think that as Christians, we should "let others make up their own mind" as to whether or not to terminate their pregnancies i.e. kill their babies. Some people even thought the issue was just about government involvment--not even about saving lives!!!!

I just want to ask pro-choicers who consider themselves Christian, when you die and meet Jesus face to face, he may say to you "I was vulnerable and you did nothing to protect me. I was being aborted and you did not pray for me and my parents. I was murdered while you sat idly by and said nothing in my defense." You may say, "Lord, when did I see you vulnerable or murdered and did nothing to help you?" But Jesus tells us that he will reply "I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these brothers, you did not do for me." (Matthew 25)

Christians, please give this some serious thought. Thank you!

Before you give your point of view do you read the entire Bible and study the word?

Or are you just basing your answers on the pieces you've read or heard about in church?

I've never seen it before if it exists. I don't get why a lot of Muslims are so upset that people don't view Islam as a "religion of peace", when Muslims are constantly on CNN, and your local newspapers having blown up people in the name of their "peaceful religion". I agree there are a lot of fanatical Christians and Jews. However, whenwas the last time a pissed off Rabbi or a Christian monk held a few aircraft hostage with a bowie knife, blew up about 700 people in a business plaza, or committed mass suicide in the name of their God, and "peaceful religion"?

I don't accept or follow any religion, but so far as peaceful goes...I'll have to say the Buddhists are the closest to this notion. One could argue..."oh, they do martial arts". Ok, let's keep it real. I'm talking about blowing up masses of people and maiming innocents.

No one has yet to prove Islam is a peaceful religion. Anyone can purchase a Koran and read all the passages about killing non-beleivers. Save the drama.

only God is supposed to judge but since men use GOD in times new roman font to justify their killing they kill in the name of God like He is the law.

Means anyone that says God is the LORD is lying.

means god is the code (ie criminals code)

cause if God is LORD GOD that makes HIM human. like God is 1 and true and pure. All which symbolically describe Me.

So thats why assholes say their is no living God. Cause they saw my picture and realized for the first time in their life" I am not better looking than LORD GOD TODD. So english encouraged the indians to rebel through St. Lawrence of arabia just like they encourage OSAMA to hit NYC like english shelling the NATIVES (ie NYC gang) in Gangs of New York.

America when will you wake up and realize

Describe what you think your life would be like if you were (are) a christian. What does it mean to follow Christ? I'll take all the answers I can get!! Don't hold back from what you think is the Truth on this one.

One thing that I want to add is instead of focusing on HOW to become a Christian answer what life is like/would be like as a Christian. So the answer would fall in two categories:
(A) What your life looks like if you follow Christ
(B) What you think Christian life is like, for those of you that do not follow Christ

Followers of the religious movement currently booming in America are calling themselves "born-agains" and "evangelicals" rather than the historically tainted term "fundamentalist." This is supposedly a sect of Protestant Christianity, but observation and research prove that it is no such thing.

This religion is more like a cross between hyper-Calvinism, civil patriotism, and Adam Smith-style economics. It believes only in the bloodiest parts of the Old Testament and almost totally ignores the New Testament. Its only requirements to entry are hatred of abortion, evolution and homosexuality. It doesn't care about the poor and thinks corporate America should be able to run wild. Its followers don't know or care about Jesus' teachings. They praise his birth and death, but never his life. They hold George W. Bush up as a Pharoah: God on Earth, or God's direct representative. They call hate, greed and violence "faith."

Is this a new kind of Christianity, or a whole new religion?

If the unthinkable should someday come to pass and your legislature were to consider such a bill, would you support it? Why? Why not?

If you say yes, would you feel the same way if the bill were to support a religion or moral philosophy OTHER than your own and outlaw all others, including yours?
