Dear Lot,
Why are you sorry? Being a member of a church or denomination does not make you saved. Neither can any labor you do make you saved. Alot of people are of the opinion that being baptized or joining a church makes one born again or saved. May I say that putting on an airline pilots uniform or a physicians attire does not make one a pilot or a doctor (as we have witnessed with the 9-11 tragedy and the molestation of patients by "doctors").
Salvation is a miracle in which God (Jesus Christ) gives a dead person (dead in sins and trespases) a new resurrected soul and eternal life. This new resurrected soul gives the individual a hunger and thirst for righteousness and a desire to be odedient to the Lord and His word. What most people do not understand is that in order for this to happen God had to choose this person to be saved before the creation of the world (Ephesians 1:3-5), pay for this person's sins (which is eternity under the wrath of God) and then apply the word of God to the person's heart to make them a new creature (in Christ). Salvation is completely the work of the Lord!
The Bible says "So then, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God." Faith is a synonym for the the Lord Jesus. So then, Christ cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. If God us going to save a person, it will happen under the hearing (or reading) of the Bible. The church age is ended but if youwant more info see the site below.

Good for you, correcting such a terrible error.
Yes, Great Britain is divided into English, Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish. However, each prefers to be known by it's proper name - according to where they live. So, I'm an englishman, and proud of it. We're better than all the other lot. Of course, they say exactly the same. That's why we have sporting and other competitive events - to try to prove the point. So far, all it's proved is that the Scots are the only bunch who use telegraph poles as hand weapons :-)
