I work in a urban area medical center and i see too many things, mostly bad. I want to know that if he does have a plan, what do innocent people have to do. from murders to DUI far too mny innocent people are getting hurt. And it's not only them but the families have to also suffer.

I wonder if a plan of any magnitude is worth such injustices. That soo many innocent people who had no business suffering do just that. Anyone who would allow this is not fair or just does not care. And as for forgiveness, the MAN has not right because he might have caused it. We can not have free will and give him divine say over everything. That would not speak to highly of him. That might mean that he is not loving or just for that matter.

For the record I am an atheist, yet I do hope that I am wrong about my beliefs. It would not be right for me to wish that I were right so that soo many people could be wrong. I hope that I might one day find him because I am looking, just need answers

For all of you that decide to live forever - what would you do if and when the planet exploded and you were left to drift in space?

For all that decided the latter - what if when the time comes you're not ready to die yet? What would you do?

i asked this question twenty minutes ago or so. The correct answer is only the truth is right. Truth can be obtained through proof and faith working together. Those who think that there is no absolute truth and everyone is right according to what they think or feel: congratulations, you have achieved ultimate ignorance. Those who think that the bible is the truth, can you back that up? Christianity is not a religion solely of faith; you are called upon to know what you're talking about. And i do not address that only to christians...everyone should be able to know what they are talking about...neutrality is the worst state to be in when in comes to truth.

before more answer. you have a genuine answer of what you think would be a good idea, or if you are of a religion that doesnt celebrate christmas then please answer. if you do celebrate christmas however feel free to leave any answer that may help but please refrain from any religious heckling.

im not christian, i dont celebrate christmas or any christian holidays.
At a younger age i didnt have a problem with peer pressure of christmas around my age, back then it wasnt nearly as bad as it is today but im worried that my child will be teased that he wont celebrate it like the rest of them. we are pagan and i will buy gifts for thier birthdays or just because i want to give them one.

I was just wondering what many of you view to be the beliefs of Agnostics. I also read an article that grouped Agnostics, Athiests, and Jews. It seems to me that Agnostics neither accept nor deny a higher power, but rather believe that the concept and existence of a higher power is beyond our comprehension. I think I agree mostly with the Apathetic Agnostic belief that mankind has been neglected by a higher power and suffered, and therefor, a higher power is questioned.

About the so-called Virgin Mary appearances?

For years, the ghost figure of Mary has been appearing before millions of people, what do you think about them?

I think I know who's responsible for them, but I won't say... ;o)

Pastors in NIgeria now exploit Tithe to amass wealth. They live in oppulence, while their gullible followers languish in poverty. Nigeria is today under a seige or an invasion from christian fundamentalists. Unlike in Europe, Churches here are replacing factories on daily basis. People are dailing looking for miracles. Please, suggest ways that would put a halt to this madness, if only to avert future religious crisis. I am an unbeliever, but I love my country and have sympathy for my ignorant countrymen and women who fall victims to these sweet-mouthed pastors.

You say God gives us freewill, but then you do everything he tells you to do. Why wouldn't God just make us so that we did everything he wanted? Why leave room for error? What's the benefit of leaving room for error? What's the benefit of freewill if ultimately we have to do what God wants or we suffer?

By giving us a choice is that really make us any better? With freewill we have people burn in Hell. But you say freewill allows us to do more...but all you want to do is worship God.

But Christ was sinless, and he offered himself as an eternal and spiritual sacrifice to God. That's why his blood is much more powerful and makes our [f] consciences clear. Now we can serve the living God and no longer do things that lead to death.

Abraham was tested by God to kill his son issac. Abraham followed God's command and took his son Issac up the hill to sacrifice him. When he was about to kill Issac, the heavens opened and God said "Do not lay a hand on the boy," he said. "Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son." And God offered a ram instead. What is the moral of this story?
