Actually it is not.
The Tanakah is the old testiment and Constantine modified it a bit.
The Torah is only a part of it.
And there is a conflict between the Pharasees and another Jewish sect as to what goes into the "old testiment."
The Pharasees, by the way, were the people who wanted Jesus Crusified.
It was not the Jews, per se, but the sect known as the Pharasees.

The Jewish text and the OT are not the same. The Christian compilers switched the order, moving the prophecies to the end so they would lead nicely into the NT. The name Jesus in no way matches Immanuel, so they failed.

The TANAKH is the Jewish Scriptures.
The TORAH is the first five books of the Tanakh, i.e., the five books of (written by) Moses.
The Tanakh is comprised of Torah, Nevi'im and Ketuvim

i'll have to agree with jewishgirl on this one. anyway, for anyone kabbalistically inclined, i recently found a book that's very interesting, but kind of "scholarly and dense", but worth the effort: *the secret doctrine of the kabbalah* by leonora leet. ;-)

Your "old testament" is not the Torah. It has been so warped through mistranslations and ridiculous attempts to paint Jesus into it that it is almost unrecognizable.
