Reading the bible is hard to do. You just can't read it straight through, You kind of have to jump around a bit. My great grandmother read the whole bible about 3 or 4 times in her life. Actually the Bible is considered a "living" work. Everytime you read it, you learn something new. God let's you see certain things in the Bible at certain times. For instance, I had cancer last year and I was only 25, pregnant and scared to death. Every time I opened my bible. I would find verses about having strong faith in God and how Jesus healed the sick. It truly amazed me.

I started reading the bible in January and I'll be finished in about a month! You will not regret reading the greatest book of all time!
By the way, after reading the bible, you will be able to pick up patience for sure.

Christians should but we don't always have the most patience in the world. Good luck on reading the bible. I would start out in the New testament. Old testament is harder to understand.

I believe they have the possibility of understanding things a little more than if they had not know the Lord. When you know better you do better. The bible has proven its WORDS has life and death in it. You can live by the principles of the words and be prosperous in all aspects of your life including and not limited knowledge.

After reading leviticus, skip to judges, then the NT!
The Bible isnt necessarily desgined to be read chronologically like a regular book.

On Y!A, Christians seem to have the least patience.
Within seconds of seeing atheistic comments, they are thumping the poor bible so hard, you'd think it would break.

No, it depends more on the person, than which religion, if any they follow. Some people just have more patience than others.

i'd say it depends on the person really. Some can go overboard. Everyone complains about islamic fanatics but there are fanatics in all religions who see and hear what they want to hear and refuse to adapt or understand.
