I just burned a CD for the first time and I was wondering if I can add more songs to it later? I have a growing collection of music and I want to add more to the disc overtime. Did I just screw up and should have waited until I was done with my playlist or can I keep on adding songs without rewriting it over and over again?

I know you are thinking "what does that have to do with religion?"
so I want to know if there are any songs related to or about Wicca.
Please post artist/band name and the name of the song.

I have a son going into the K4 program. I have heard that around this age, they teach cursive. Is it true that no printing is taught, it's just cursive? If so, what is the reasoning behind that? Is there research that has found that it is beneficial and age appropriate? I'm just curious.

It seems to inhibit more and more people from understanding the Universe. People are using truthiness more and more. That is when something feels right, no matter what logic or the facts tell us. We basicily believe what we want to because it feels right to us. Science isn't about believing, it's about accepting.

These commercials are increasingly weird.

Plus, I tried to reasearch franchise info on their site...they wanted name, rank, and serial number.

Always be aware of who you're supporting with your food dollars, people. Lotsa weird religious cults own franchises (see Chick-Filet).

When you go to heaven, do you lose all memory? Would you still remember your parents and other loved ones? (I wouldn't be happy in a place without my family and friends.)

If an atheist did not believe in God, why, then would they care if there was a public display of a religious symbol, esp. a Christian one? Wouldn't to object acknowledge that there might be a God that the person hates rather than seeing the symbol as a harmless object that means nothing to them?

Since this is what this world and society has come to, don't you think maybe we actually may need a little guidance? Even if you're not of a particular religion, do you have enough spirituality within yoursef to pray over situations like this?
Do you think lack of prayer and lack of belief in a higher being has something to do with the tragedies in society today?
I'll tell you honestly yahoo friends, this is the kind of thing that makes me sick at my stomach. My heart aches for this world and the people in it. This is only one story. This is only one story that has been brought into the public. This kind of thing goes on all day every day, and much worse. We have people killing people for $172.13 in a cash drawer of a convenience store, and someone has to bury thier loved one. All to pay for an addiction, to fill a void. What is that "void"?
I'm open to suggestion here from every age, gender, and religion.
Everyone.

Why do most people have a problem with believing that all life evolved from a single instance. Through 4 billion years of time (that is a very long time) and a little bit of serendipity, we evolved to ask the question, where do we come from? We are the only species on the planet to discover science and use it to understand the cosmos.

All life on our planet is made of the same basic chemistry, based on the same basic elements. Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Oxygen and Carbon. Carbon is the key, all life is based on carbon. Go one step further, Carbon is abundent in the Universe. Perhaps on other planets, life evolves as well.

To deny that Evolution is fact, you are just deluding yourself of the beauty of the evolution of life in the Universe. There is this sense of oneness with everything once you accept that simple truth. We are not important or special or unique. The entire universe is full of life, no more important than we are.

The countries that are the most religious are also the most violent or ignorant in our world. Consider Western democracy headed by the USA, and as published by the President of the United States of America.

“We are a peaceful nation, a freedom loving nation”

Some people around the world, especially those who have lost their loved ones, could not be faulted for interpreting those words as meaning ...

“You will be free, or else”

It seems to me that the most religious countries are clearly ignorant in the majority, and the most violent. For the record, the population of the USA is 85% religious, and I’m sure you will find that all of the other Holy War countries are just as bad or worse.
