why do you care?
if you adhere to the strict tenets of Judaism then you would allready know the answer
but you don't
so go ahead an move in with whomever and have sex with him
worry about if you are a proper Jew later

orthodoxy is strictly opposed to either....

but you know, today, most jews are not orthodox in fact only a tiny percentage are.

the rest leaves the conservative and reform jews to make up their own laws practically and though i haven't checked recently, but I believe these sorts of issues are not major concerns in the synogogues around town.

similarly, PORK is becoming more and more accepted in judaism, where in israel there are efforts to legalize importing pork products previously restricted and outlawed in fact.
