Jesus didn't take God's wrath upon himself.
Jesus withstood the worst that the combined forces of evil could do to him, and he emerged victorious, purely through divine power.

Would you be able to take upon your own wrath and still survive?
I believe that God knows what he is doing, and he isn't self-loathing, so the situation wouldn't come up in the first place.

It's a circle question. If God is using his wrath against Himself then only He can survive, but no one can survive His wrath so not even He can survive.

LOLOLOLOLLLLL! Har-har-har!!! Man...that gave me the best laugh I've had since...uh...last night! Yes, if there WERE a "God"....and "he" was all powerful, you wouldn't wanna piss him off! BUT! Doesn't the Bible say Jesus was all Meek (except to the Temple money-changers)??????????? Why would HE want to mess you up with his "wrath"?! You're contradicting yourself! (or have you been a bad boy?) Do you believe in a loving "God" or the real "O.T", fire-and-brimstone "God"? Can't have both, now, can you?

No, Jesus himself teaches that we will do as he does but even greater things, which the church does not teach as is so plain in your question because I believe Jesus is the Messiah by his teachings, not his death alone. I also believe that Paul is not needed for interpretation of what Jesus says, because he taught his opinion only at times and admitted it! By the way, do you know that the wound on his head should have killed him but only blinded him and the elect were amazed as foretold in Johns Revelation?

Only if you mean survive death, only those who live by the spirit survive the first death and will be raised bodily at the end of time to spend eternity in heaven.
[Rom 8:13] For if you live according to the flesh, you will die, but if by the spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

So are you saying that god gets angry at himself? And how does your next statement fit in with this concept?

Rediculous, many people have stood against the church and their decendants survive, how do you think the world still spins?
