Actually the figures show that about 1/4 of all newly converted to Islam are females. I suspect this to be because in Islam Eve is a creation unto herself rather than from a rib of Adam. This more than likely appeals to their sense of self as being whole and not part of man.
You did not mean to really ask anything here, you meant to demean others who choose to believe differently than yourself. To me this says you are not a true follower of Islam. I have studied some of each of the religions you mention, and a few you have not. I am a follower of the Tao and do not require faith as I have experience.
Perhaps with a bit more education you could sway more people rather than alienating them with your bigotry.

Those that are turning to Islam are neither real Christians, nor real atheists.
Both require a level of commitment that is life long.
Islam is just getting a bunch of weak stragglers from those two camps.
If you can be talked into anything, then you can also be talked OUT of it again.

Because they were weak in Faith, and many Christians are to Peaceful now a days, and Most don't even read the Old testament? But not me I do believe that Christ is my Savior and in the Holy Bible he said the most important Commandment was to honor god , not love thy neighbor? I love the Old Testament it lets you know who God really is, and what his will is, and that's my purpose in life to do Gods will, so When I call upon the FEW true Christians, the ones who would give their life for their faith, instead of the ones who wanna give you a flower. When I call upon the Warriors of Christendom by the grace of God they will answer and then, I will rid the earth of you Kaaba stone worshiping Pagan Muslims with a Holy Crusade. Praise be to God

I recognize that you are bias. I suppose there are many Christians and Atheists that have turned to Islam. And I suppose there are many Christians and Atheists turning to Hinduism & Buddhism. I also suppose there are many Muslims turning to Christianity, Atheism, Hinduism or Buddhism. I suppose there are many people in the world and every posible turning is taking place.

Because they are not intelligent enough to understand 3 Gods in 1 God, Hinduism is also very similar to Christianity; it has three main Gods 1+1+1 = 3 and millions of other Gods and Goddess. So it is also very difficult to understand, same thing with Buddhism.
Islam is very simple, only one God, no father, no son, no spirit, no incarnation in human form like christianity, no incarnation in animal form like hinduism.

Those few that do turn to it because they like making women a sub-species and not an equal. They may also like being ultra hypocrites like the 911 hijackers who were such good Muslims, but they went to topless bars before their flights.
Many in Africa are turning to Islam, but the 'convert or die' methods used by Muslims isn't a true conversion. Just ask the journalists kidnapped in Gaza by, guess who... Muslims!!! They were forced at gunpoint to convert to Islam.

Hinduism and Buddhism do not use propaganda to get people to follow their religion.
I cannot say the same for many other religions, including Islam.

well, actually, i have found that esoteric buddhism tends to attract more independent thinking people, as compared with christianity and islam..the same is true of esoteric taoism. ;-)

Obviously, (from the comments above), you are all idiots. I have studied Islam christianity and judism in detail. And youve only proven yourselfs that you are idiots, by making comments that are ignorant and bigoted, comments that are tottaly motivated by hate for islam, its clear your opionions are 100% spoonfed to you by the media. Because if you studied islam, you would relise that it is not a violent religion you idiots, it is no more violent than christinaity or judism, you only think it is violent because you generalise teh actions of less than 0.5% of the muslim population on teh other 99.5%. Islam does not say, kill, steal, it does not preach anything like that, just like judism and christianity, and for the idiot that said that muslims dont woship the same god, they do, you dumbass, study teh subject before making bullshi comments about it. And my answer for the question of why islam is currently the fastest growing religion in terms of converts is because islam is the center of attention in the media for a long time, no doubt you will hear "islam(ist)" in any news report you turn on. So people then hear of this religeon and decide to study it and they relise that it is not violent and a very peaceful religion, that is why they convert. Unlike many of teh idiots here that prefer to make BS comments based on no evdence.
