I tell you why the Muslims are killing so many people, becuase GOD TOLD THEM TOO. Yeah, this is what is happening in this bible story, God tells Abraham to kill, and Abraham doesn't even question the motive of Gods but head on to kill his son. He does not bother questioning human dignity, the conscience which says " DO NOT KILL!" So I guess the ultimate moral means
"It is okay to kill, as long as God tells you to"

The moral of this story is Abraham was tested weather he LOVED his son more than he LOVE the FATHER. He prove it. The first commandment is LOVE NO OTHER GOD BEFORE ME. Abraham son could be seen as a god. The car you love so much could be your god. He may ask you to give it away and keep making the payments on it til it is paid off. Would you do it?

The Pagans were sacrificing there children at this point in time . God was showing Abraham that this was not what was expected of him.Test increase a christains faith. Many times these test trails are referred to as mountains.Abraham called this mountain Je-ho'vah-ji'-reh."In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen." Gen.22:14.From here Abraham could understand that God was going to send His Son for a sacrifice.

The Testing of Our Commitment
Hebrews 11:8-19
In the “stretch” times of life, when God is testing us, He will teach us new and deeper truths about Himself, His purposes, and His promises. The difficulties are often painful, but they are always designed to be beneficial.
From a human perspective, times of testing can be baffling because we don’t understand how anything good could result. Consider God’s command that Abraham sacrifice his long-awaited son Isaac. Abraham’s earthly viewpoint could have regarded this order as:
• Unreasonable—”God, I cherish my son above all else. How could You ask this of me?”
• Untimely—”Why now, Lord? My son is still young. He is the one through whom my descendants are to come.”
• Unfair—”It’s not right that You ask me this. Haven’t I left home and friends to follow You?”
• Unbearable— “This is too hard for me. I cannot take this pain.”
Abraham rejected that kind of thinking. Instead, he trusted God and refused to turn away. The trial revealed Abraham’s unshakable commitment to the Lord’s plan.
Knowing which circumstances will help us grow, our Father asks us to exercise faith and choose His way. Recalling His unending love and wholehearted commitment to His children will help us do this. Be assured that God makes no mistakes in His dealings with us.
Imagine Abraham’s joy when the Lord provided a ram as a sacrifice in Isaac’s place. We will receive the same reward of spiritual joy when we remain steadfast. Won’t you respond to times of testing as Abraham did—by trusting and obeying God?

Issac was willing to give God his most loved thing on earth.God was testing his faith just as he still does today Did he not do what he ask Issac to do ,put his only Son on this earth knowing that he was here to die for our sins so that we as saved people will have everlasting life. In
my House there are many manisons I've gone to prepare a place for you If it were not so I (GOD) would have told you.

I think the moral of the story is to show us God is not really all knowing and that the Bible is full of lies. If God was all knowing, would he not have already known what Abraham would have done? No use in putting Isaac through that.
Bible god is an As*hole.

Abraham knew God , and trusted God, he knew that God would do what was best for him, he knew if God took his son, he had a reason, and as you can see In the Bible, he did have a reason for what he did.And maybe he was also showing Abraham what he has planned for his own son Jesus, and letting him know what he was feeling.

ISAAC A NEAR SACRIFICE
Isaac was age 25 at Mount Moriah with his dad,
As he was near to sacrificed, dad’s dearest lad,
But an angel held the knife, as they saw a ram,
His horn caught in a bush, as a gift to Abraham.
Twelve years would pass and Sarah passed away,
Three years after Isaac had Rebecca as a wife,
Ten years and Shem, age 600, Noah’s son dies,
Twenty fifth year Abraham rest by Sarah side.
2108 + [25 + 12 + 3 + 10 + 25 =] 75 =
2183 or 1883 before Christ.
Esau and twin Jacob are age 15 and Abraham dies,
Esau at age forty takes canaanites to be wives,
His parents are furious now, as this is not right,
As chosen people of Abraham in both day and night.
So Esau marries Ishmael’s daughter to make amends,
Rebecca had Isaac bless Jacob, Esau it did offend,
Jacob shunned him until Ishmael’s death has been,
Then Rebecca sent him to her Syrian Father’s land.
He returned by the time Joseph was age seventeen,
The brothers sold Joseph to Midianite merchantmen,
They sold him in Egypt, so he became governor then,
All of his family he brought to Egypt in a famine.
They were saved after 215 as pilgrims from Canaan,
At 17 years Jacob died, was buried back in Canaan land,
After 215 years in Rameses Egypt, the Exodus did begin,
Abraham age 75 in 2083 + 215 = 2298 all in Egypt then,
To next 215 =2513 + 40 to 2553, all in Promised Land,
Judges 2513 + 450 = 2963 to Samuel and judges end,
King Saul to David, 1Ki.6:1 480 + 36 to 3069 Solomon,
Now it is 997 to Christ Jesus the real seed and our king,
Heb.9:14,15 John 3:16; God did have to Give his son,
but Abraham was willing, that God's will be done,
God can give life and SAVE TO PERFECT every one,
And with all made new, for all, God's will has been done.
Abraham understood perfection was lost, something had to be done.
