I define truth as something that is absolutely true. When people say that there is no such thing as absolute truth, and what they say about not being able to know if anything is truth, is true, then how can people make a statement? It's self-contradictory. I don't restrict it to the Bible. I just chose the Bible as a example. You say that it's impossible to know if anything is true. So I guess that means that there is no such thing as science? We know the earth is round because proven scientific testing. There are many things that have been proven to be true through scientific testing in laboratories. And many things have been proven false as well. People say religion is restrictive. In what way? Maybe people who say this just don't like guidelines to live life by. I would consider the belief in evolution as a religion. As far as I understand, religion is just a set of beliefs and morals that one holds to. It can involve deity, or not. It can be the Bible, or the Humanist Manifesto.

If there was a test for love 1 Corinthians 13 would be it. If you are in love with someone right now, ask yourslef if that person fits the description of love based on these verses.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13

Oh yeah, Byt the way 1 John 4: 16 says that "God is Love" and Romans 5: 8 says that "God demonstartes His love for us in this: that while we were still sinners Christ died for us."

How sick is this quote from the Bible. Yes I know, the Bible is full of sick violent evil traumatic quotes full of hatred, but is this evil or what?

Matthew 10:37 - "Anyone who loves his father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me".

What decent person (human, divine, almighty or whatever fantasy you care to dream up) would ever ask someone to love them more than they love their parents or children.

Tell me religious people, if you love your parents or children more than anything else, are you committing a sin? Or, are you going to lie and say you love some unknown, unproven fantasy entity more than them?

LEFT WING CONSPIRACY TO BE HELD BY HILLARY CLINTON 2008

"Butterfly Kisses" includes a section called "Rights Advocacy" with titles such as "Feminism, Pedophilia and Children's Rights," by Pat Califia, "A Child's Sexual Bill of Rights," "The North American Woman-Girl Love Association" and "Sexual Revolution and the Liberation of Children," by well-known feminist Kate Millett.

This is what the feminist (or girl power groups) have in store for us - they want to molest our children and call it legal - why? Because they say they are women and deserve to do whatever they want since they are female. This is the same group of women that support the murder of unborn babies through abortion. They are "the feminist".

And yes, I mean the Satanism associated with The Church of Satan and Anton LaVey, not Luciferianism, which is devil-worship.

Why is there so much hate in this section when religion and spiritually should be of love and never hate.

Disagreements are one thing, but we can disagree without showing hatred or making jokes about people beliefs.
Maybe there should be a section called hatred.

Maybe they should separate all the different types of religion and if those who don’t believe the same, out of respect stay out. At the same time, Christians should stay out of the none Christian section, for I know that Christians show hate, which isn't scriptural either.

Non-Christians get mad at Christians and visa versa, did anyone think that who ever thought of this section when they created this site wanted to start people hating each other.

If I get hateful remarks then that just proves my point... why can’t we all stop the hate.

I believe that God is both, since we are all apart of God. We are one with the universal spirit.
