Read your Bible: His message was in his dying on the cross. No cross, no message/no message, no cross!

You can't choose just one.

Without Him dying on the cross, we would not be forgiven of our sins, therefore we would all go to hell.

Without His message, we would not be able to accept His forgiveness of our sins and thus we would all go to hell.

We have to have both.

His message was salvation in belief through Him, that through His death on the cross and His resurrection we can have eternal life. Therefore, they are one and the same-His message and the cross.

Message - Even if I were Christian I wouldn't believe that God would hold EVERYONE responsible for the sin of Adam, and the ONLY way to reverse this is to butcher and torture his son.
