Is God male or female?

I believe that God is both, since we are all apart of God. We are one with the universal spirit.

We do not possess the inteligence or strength of mind to possibly comprehend such an awesome force as God , so we try as in the bible to make it somewhat understandable to ourselves and others without really being enlightened at all , but above all God is hope , the hope that there is something up there , something watching over us , and something after death ....this is why we have God...we need God to make ourselves feel safe in this vast empty universe.....because otherwise we would go nuts and think of ourselves as Gods , being the only intelligent life anywhere....and that would bring about mass destruction here on earth among us all...is God male or female.....I say ...is there a real God.....or are we merely creating him , so as not to be scared...?...think about it............there ya have it.....GR1M

Either is possible. NOBODY knows for certain who or what even exists. I don't care what the bible or ANY book says!! When your @ss is WORM FOOD, you will find out for sure! (It's probably not a woman, because a woman would have done a much better job at creating beings as they are!) If there is a creator, it is most likely a genderless spirit. Humans have to try thinking beyond what they are used to - not everything is male OR female!

God is referred to as the Father..NOT the mother.. He is the Heavenly Father..a father figure..but He is not "male" as we define male.
He is a spirit and those that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth. Spirits are neither male nor female.
