There's a hypothetical religion out there (sure, let's just say it's yours) that is completely right. And agnosticism, which says you don't know (or alternatively, cannot know). Since agnosticism doesn't posit any specific interpretations of the universe, it can simultaneously be true along with the theoretical religion...

Oh wait, subaspects about that religion that simply sugguest less than the full hypothetical religion would also be truth. DAMN! Well, you know what I mean.

FIND TRUTH IN THE ALLMIGHTY MAYBE!

For the people that have payed attention and understood this discution,(and i know it was tough for some of you, it got pretty deep)

the conclusions we must draw

1 god is all knowing, we don't have freewill, people who go to hell are bound by fate to do so

2 god is all knowing, we do have freewill, god knew some people would go to hell, but didn't try and change them just let them go to hell

3. god is not all knowing, we do have freewill, but god still knew some people would goto hell and created them anyway.

no matter how you look at it nobody can be blamed for going to hell. We are here cause god put us here, and let us choose what to do. Therefore he cannot punish us if we don't do what he wants

Its like giving a kid a gun, and punishing him for shooting himself with it.
If you don't think this makes sense, you need to think harder
if you look closer you'll see that this makes sense, Christianity doesn't!

The Bible was written over the course of many centuries by many different authors. It is obvious that so many things are exaggerated. Example.....something about Noah putting every male/female animal in an ark? I didn't know that Noah traveled to the Americas or Australia etc etc......And wasn't it found in writing that Judas was not the traitor that the Bible said he was? Am I blind? Should I believe in scientology cuz it's in a book?

I am looking for some answers, my sister sent her/ my niece out to me hopeing to give her some guidence. now i am feeling a little lost!!! did i do the right thing??? My niece was out here for approx: 2 mos, My husband & i tryied to get her counceling. due to her event of crying out for help & needing some guidence, she chose not to abide to some "rules" she ended up abusuing the "phone" and the computer.... disrespectful.....she also "hitched hiked into town when we werent at home, my husband & i live out of town approx: 1 hr away "she has just turned 17 yrs of age... & has been on drugs drinks alchole & has been on the streets... she has ran away for aleast 2 times that i have been told from her mother, my husband & i live out in the country & have a small farm to keep her occupied during the day, so i am feeling a bit lost in this situation!!! this child needs family, but dosent want our help.... so now what do i do?? i cant let her go like that,

Ok this time the only rebuttle i got that was even close to making sense was that just because god knows what the outcome is doesn't mean you don't get to choose or something like that.

Essentially what that means is that god created me knowing what I would choose, and even though he is all powerful and could have made me differently, HE himself chose not to do so. He decided to make me in such a way that I would choose to go to hell. So then why is it ok for him to punish me for something he chose to let me do.

Wouldn't that be like choosing to let a 5 year old kid hold a loaded weapon knowing perfectly well that the kid might choose to shoot himself with it. If the kid shot himself it would be your fault for letting the kid have the gun in the first place. You couldn't fault the kid for doing wrong, because he doesn't understand the consequences of his actions.

I would have to say we have lost all respect for life, freedom and human dignity. We have become a very selfish and selfcentered nation. This is just my humble opinion as a Catholic American and I am sure we will not all agree but I am interested to learn what you think and how you feel.

I am Native American and I am also Christian. I have a problem of not knowing how to honor both of them at the same time. Everyone else in my family honors one or the other. I am just not sure how to balance the 2. Anyone have any advice?

This is a serious question, and I will report any innappropriate answers.
What, exactly, do athiests believe in? One of my friends is an athiest, and he simply does not believe in the existence of ANYTHING--no supernatural deities or anything. So what do they believe in? Darwinism? I am honestly curious, because I cannot ask my friend, as he ends up insulting me because I am Christian. If you believe in a higher power, but not God, are you agnostic?

Is it allowed for a person/family to buy & consume meat from a grocery store or butcher (i.e. chicken, beef, turkey) when there are no halal meat stores in the city/town/village? Also, what if a person is too poor to afford halal... it's quite expensive, about 3 times more!

people critisize n object when a muslim lady keeps herself covered, tell my why u donot object nuns when they cover theirselves just like a muslim woman does? y nuns r considered to be most respectable women in christians? y they need to cover theirselves? y their dress is not objected? using ur words, do ur men get their ***** stiff while looking at them? u ve only nuns in ur society n religion and we have all of our women just like ur Nuns i.e most respectable.
