I don't know if it has changed my beliefs, so much as expanded them. I have read some really interesting points of view on here which have enriched my life. Not necessarily views which correspond with my own either, which is the whole point.
I guess one belief that it has changed is that I used to believe that most people were basically good hearted. To read the ugly things that people post here just for the fun of it though, now I'm not so sure about that.

I stop labeling myself as a Christian because others have tarnished the label. I realized that the worst sinners are those who compromise with sinners and they call themselves Christians. I've notice that not everyone believes or see God as I do. I don't take everything in bible literally any more because there are some contradictions but yet I still remain strong in my beliefs. Someone told me once that "A Christian's life maybe the only bible that an unbeliever may read" and I believe it to be true because that's why I have never approached anyone. I let my lifestyle do the talking for me and and the Holy Spirit does the rest.

I've had subtle changes in my thinking. . .
I know I will have more and I'm really excited for the adventure.
I think also that I am learning and growing too because some of the answers I've gotten have hurt my feelings and to go through the process of that has been interesting --the choice of what to do with it. . . and maybe not take it so personally and to decide to choose to move forward eventhough the joy is deflated a little bit. . .

i was going to answer what helzabet said, so ditto that one.
well, my first few days on this site i got real scared. my beliefs about people being largely well-meaning and good-hearted were shaken. but then i realized that it's really just a handful of crazies ranting all the time.
so far the beliefs of others as expressed on this website have not swayed me to change my beliefs. i'm willing to let that happen though.

Nope. I just get a good laugh out of all the people pretending there's an invisible bearded guy in the sky. Change my beliefs? These folk prove them.

I have to admit, It may have, but only for a moment. I had to really dig deep and believe the truths that I know about the subject that was on trial on the internet. Its hard, tho...

I admit, it has got me to thinking about certain things. But then I go to the source-God and his holy words and I am at ease again. I have never stopped believing in God, just questioning the difference in religions. No one could ever convince me that God is not real.

Yes. I now believe there are lot more stupid people out there than I ever thought. On the other hand, I believe there are at least some good people out there, too.
