What do you hold most dear? And do you think we appreciate more that which comes easy to us or that for which we struggle and work hard for? For me this is my two sons. They were not easy for me to get. I had 4 miscarriages and 1 stillbirth before their births and they were hard pregnancies and deliveries. The doctors did not want me to continue the pregnancies. They thought we would not survive. What do you value and did it cost much or little?

1. The existence of a Supreme Being is unknown and unknowable.
To believe in the existence of a god is an act of faith. To believe in the nonexistence of a god is likewise an act of faith. There is no evidence that there is a Supreme Being nor is there evidence there is not a Supreme Being. Faith is not knowledge. We can only state with assurance that we do not know.
2. If there is a Supreme Being, then that being appears to act as if apathetic to events in our universe.
All events in our Universe, including its creation, can be explained with or without the existence of a Supreme Being. Thus, if there is indeed a God, then that god has had no more impact than no god at all. To all appearances, any purported Supreme Being is indifferent to our Universe and to its inhabitants.
3. We are apathetic to the existence or nonexistence of a Supreme Being.
If there is a God, and that God does not appear to care, then there is no reason to care about the needs of that Supreme Being.

I mean, ignoring all the slander about 'they don't want to be accountable for their actions' or 'they want to be gods themselves' or 'they have the devil in their hearts'.

If you can really say 'look all around you, how can you deny that this all comes from God?', don't you wonder why other people can't say that?

Some say "On his deathbed Charles Darwin recanted his belief in evolution and converted to Christianity". Nothing could be farther from the truth.

Do you believe, as I do, that on Charles Darwin's Deathbed, he recanted his believe in evolution and converted to Pastafarianism, having been touched by His Noodly Appendage?

I'm an agnostic here, not trying to convert anyone.

Some say proof of the Judeo-Christian God is in the Bible. That is interesting.

There is this book I just got at Barnes and Noble ISBN number 0812976568 called The Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Is this proof of the FLying Spaghetti Monster? It seems to me that some say that God exists and proof is in the Bible. Using this same rational and highly intelligent standard, shouldn't we investigate the possibility of the existence of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, since there is a book that in and of itself the book would be enough proof?

Hi. I'm an agnostic. Trying to find the right religion.

I lost the stamps I use to put on the envelopes to send out bills. I prayed to the Flying Spaghetti Monster that if it be His Will I find the stamps.

I did! Praise the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

Does this mean the Flying Spaghetti Monster is real?

I heard on an instant message 3 nights ago that a friend of mine prayed for a new car in Jesus's name and she got one. She believes Jesus is real, she can feel Jesus's presence.

I have a book, the Gospel of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, that says if I pray for things in the name of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, if it is the will of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, that they will come true.

Should I pray to the Flying Spaghetti Monster for a new car?
