Assuming that spirituality is a key factor in human life and assuming that God exists and there are forces to be bent: what can a "true" witch do? How do spells work? Do they work? Must you sell your soul? Are grimoires valid accounts of occult practices? Is the whole topic just another let-down? Can we bend the forces of nature or break them? Just write down whatever you know about the occult.

mmm Israelis say that they are eliminating terrorism from this world
I want to ask them why ? I think that they will say= "so there must be no killng of innocent peoples , women & childrens in this world"
If you are doing war for this purpose so why the hell are you doing opposite work , I mean that Israel Army is killing innocent childrens, womens , people & terrorist are defending their country from this bloodshed & are saving lives of innocent womens & childrens by fight back Which makes Israel Army =terrorist & Terrorists= ARMY
because that is what my logic say What does in your logic is the definition of terrorist & Isreali's

The BIble says that when we die we will stand before God on Judgement day. nothing will be hidden from his eyes. the Ten Comandments will be God's standard, and if we have broken Gods Ten Commandments by lying, stealing, looking with lust etc, we will be found in terrible situation on Judgement day and Lose our soul forever in Hell. however, God loved us so much that he sent his only son Jesus to suffer and die on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins. if you will Confess and repent of your sns once and for all and trust Jesus as your savior, God will forgive you and grant you eternal life.

I was just asking this as I keep seeing questions and answers that are directed towards the Fundamentalist Christians. I do have these in my family and have no problem or issue with them, but, I am wondering if you have the same problems with those of us not part of this group?

Agnostic/Pastafarian here, not trying to convert anyone. Just a question about the public schools.

Do you believe, as I do, that proponents of Intelligent Design are right in wanting intelligent design put into the curriculum of the public high school science class? Since evolution has never been proven as a fact, there should be intelligent discussion with alternative theories.

I also believe that the students should learn about the Flying Spaghetti Monster, which I believe created the human 4000 years ago. Even thou there is no empirical evidence, no one has ever disproved the existence of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

So I ask, do you believe as I do, that we should teach children about evolution, Intelligent Design, and about the Flying Spaghetti Monster, since none have been proven as fact, and let the children decide.

I am not. I spoke to her for the first time in a long time yesterday, and she is planning to visit my family, which I am happy about, but religion always comes up. I have tried reasoning with her about it, to no avail. How can I, being agnostic, deal with this situation without being offensive? Should I take my ordination as an agnostic priest down? Should I hide who I am to make her happy? I just don't know. Any thoughts? To pre-emt all of the "you should convert" statements, No. I am very secure in my "Truth". I just don't want to be offensive to my Grandmother.

Jesus said in John 11:25-26, “25.Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, 26.and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?"
For verse 25, if we assume Jesus talks about believers in him, those who believed in Jesus conclusively, they all shall arise and join him at his second coming. As with regard to verse 26, Jesus talks about those who are alive and believe in him shall never die. We never heard about any one who has ever escaped death. We know that all living believers had died. What is Jesus talking about in this verse? Please don’t tell me Jesus meant spiritually they will never die, because if He meant spiritually, He should have included the first type also, those who died believing in Him. And don’t tell that Jesus meant that from the moment you believe you start your everlasting life. If that is the case, then why did they die like those who died among the first type of believers?

when you see a clock you need no proof to know that there was a wise designer and maker behind that clock, now in a greater scale look at all the order in the universe , coming and giong of seasons, day and night, rain cycle... the way our body works, hormones and.... ... ...
how can you say "oh it was all accidental" ,
the probability that it all is accidental is 0 (if you have studied probability in the mathematics)
why do you want to base your life in 0 probability??.

From Luke 18, it shows that the religious all obedient pharisee is nothing in the eyes of God.

18:10. Two men went up into the temple to pray: the one a Pharisee and the other a publican.

18:11. The Pharisee standing, prayed thus with himself: O God, I give thee thanks that I am not as the rest of men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, as also is this publican.

18:12. I fast twice in a week: I give TITHES of all that I possess.

18:13. And the publican, standing afar off, would not so much as lift up his eyes towards heaven; but struck his breast, saying: O God, be merciful to me a sinner.

18:14. I say to you, this man went down into his house justified rather than the other: because every one that exalteth himself shall be humbled: and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

"Reason must be deluded, blinded, and destroyed. Faith must trample underfoot all reason, sense, and understanding, and whatever it sees must be put out of sight and ... know nothing but the word of God." — Martin Luther

The Hebrew word for "ashamed" just happens to be: . The wise should regard their history squarely - dead on. Only a fool would dare hide behind a bush; ignore; or tamper with it. Adam learned this in the Garden of Eden, reputed to be where the Tigres and Euphrates meet; Abraham was born in Ur, in present day Nasiriya, Iraq.

In 1948 Eisenhower and the British had disapproved of an Israeli State: http://www.israpundit.com/archives/2005/06/eisenhower_and_1.php

But unlike Truman, Eisenhower dared tamper in the politics of ancient Iran; his CIA ousted Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh in 1953:

I have noticed that if someone posts a positive question that it seems like people go out of their way to say something nasty. Not everyone but a good percentage. I was interested why? If someone says something nice to you - do you think you don't deserve it? Why not just accept it and move on?-peace.

What about the religious orders dedicated to the sick, the dying, the poor? What about the charities that feed the hungry, clothe the naked and care for those ill and dying? I have seen many religious groups taking care of these people and showing love. Can anyone deny the good they do? Are there any non religious charities or groups that you know of?
