Who was supposedly the god that is tied to the miracle?

I witnessed this and the God was the same for every faith. They just had different names for him because they spoke different languages.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Witnessed: none. Heard of: many. Living in Rome the involved God could only be the Christian one.Anyhow, my opinion is that a God, being the boss, is usually too busy to find the time for arranging miracles. He can delegate, if some Saint is available, or simply rely on the faith of the human beings.

Many. There are tales of healing, visions, and wild events from all faiths. In India there is a Hindu statue where supposedly if you hold a spoonful of milk near it, the milk quickly vanishes from the spoon. Sort of like a bleeding statue in reverse. On Hawalli, people who pray to Pele have their houses spared when there is a lava flow. Each of these miracles is touted as "proof" that their religion is real...just like the Christians do with their miracles.

A lot of Muslims point to natural phenomena that appear to spell the word 'Allah'.

A lot of Hindus report, for example, crying statues very similar to Catholics. (Or something about a statue that either gave milk or drank milk... I can't recall now).

I'm not aware of any Buddhist or Jewish miracles.

I would presume that both Jews and Muslims who see recovery in ill people after they pray attribute the recovery to their prayers.

Oddly enough, they all attribute the miracles to their vision of God or gods. I'm not really sure what answer you expected... Something like this: "This bull statue is giving milk - it must be a miracle of the Christian Yahweh! How wrong we've been!"

The most dramatic miracle I have seen was in the year 2000 when we were preparing to go to Israel. The maintenance manager had locked up the storeroom for the missionary and left with the keys. He had no cell phone. The bus arrived with the prayer group and I had forgotten that about 10 of them had asked me to arrange traveling bags for the. I forgot to take them out of the storeroom. When we checked the storeroom the two heavy-duty bolts were securely fastened. We had 15 minutes to leave for the airport. I took my SUV keys and prayed over them and told one of the students to close his eyes and push the ignition key into both locks and to ask God to open the locks for us because we needed to get the students' luggage. One of the lads began trembling as both locks snapped with a cracking sound as the key touch the first lock. We got their luggage and had a wonderful time in Israel.
For the past 7 years on radio, at hospitals, and in travels to over 10 countries I have witnessed firsthand people being healed for cancer, Aids, T.B. paralysis, two for deafness and two who were blind, one who had a diseased long, one who had cancer of the pancreas, one who was so severely inflicted with cancer that it had penetrated his bones, and Jehovah--God healed them all. In all instances, the healing took place during 'DELIVERANCE AND HEALING" services. This is very serious: if you have someone very dear to you who is stricken with cancer and they live in Canada, the U.S.A or the U.K--the reason I have given only three countries is that our radio station not only can be reached through those countries, but I can call the persons and pray for them over the phone. This is not a joking matter. First--I do not want to break yahoo's rules--I am not trying to attract listeners. So you post a question like: IS THERE ANYONE WHO SERIOUSLY KNOWS HOW TO PRAY FOR A PERSAONS WITH SERIOUS AILMENTS. If you are serious, I will email you.
Our radio station gets thousands of serious email daily--what we do not need are people trying to be cute.
I cannot explain why this happens--most AIDS, cancer, Sickle Cell, T.B, --those seem to get more rapid responses. Blindness, deafness and certain types of paralysis that developed over long periods of time, they seem to take longer--as if the unraveling processes take more prayer time. When I travel to countries or hospitals and have more time with sick persons—those cases have better results from former illnesses.
Let me make no illusions here: all I do is to follow the teachings that Jeshua left us. I pray to His and our father the way He taught us and make sure that we meet all the conditions of repentance and forgiveness.

There is no God in Buddhism - and a miracle is when something unexplainable happens !

The miracle of a human being strapping on explosive devices to the torsos of women and children who have been indoctrinated by their Imans (Spiritual Teachers) into blowing themselves up as Homicide Bombers ... This is strictly a Muslim Miracle with the full support of Allah their God of love, kindness, mercy and Peace. On Aljeezera TV they refer to it as their "Miracle of Martyrdom".
