Jesus did not fulfill the intrepretations of the prophecies leading to the "Messiah". The suffering servant in Ps. is not speaking about a literal 'person', but rather the entire nation of Israel suffering for their sins. Many "prophecies" that supposedly relate to Jesus are extremely vague intrepretations of nonprophetic scriptures. As for "Muhammad", the Jewish religion has always been teaching that they are the chosen ones. Without the Tanakh, or even the NT, Muhammad would have never taught what he did. He simply talked to Jews and Christians while being a camel caravan guide and came up with his own blend of belief in God.
But I respect your faith. I have studied Islam and enjoyed it. For me personally, it wasn't meant to be.
Be good.

Fear and Pride.
A very long history and reason that needs more study than can be addressed here in this forum.
And Jesus' did not, nor will He in the future, come to "satisfy" us. We are not even worthy to untie His sandles. If John wasn't, I certainly am not. It is our role to Love God, Know God, and Serve God. The servant is not greater than the Master.
P.S. SORRY SCOTT:
Jesus Christ of the New Testament fulfilled EVERY Old Testament Messianic Prophecy. Not one was missed. He didn't come close...He nailed them all. He is the One.
P.P.S. Homemade: Joseph Smith was a False Prophet that the scriptures (Paul) warns us about. Please study their theology and see the basic tenet is contrary to true Christianity. Men DO NOT become gods if they live a good enough life.
They may be LDS Church of Jesus Christ...but its a name. They don't follow the teachings of Christianity. They believe God the Father was at one time a man. He "progressed" to godhood.
God has a physical body and has a wife, the Heavenly Mother. There is NO TRINITY. As Islam believes of Christianity, Mormons actually do believe that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are indeed three separate Gods.
Worthy Men may one day become gods themselves. Jesus was created as a "Spirit Child" from a sexual union of the Father and Heavenly Mother.
They are also saved by works. This man-made religion (Joseph Smith 1830) is a blasphemous cult. Don't be fooled by a name.
There is only one God.

First, shall we be surely sparkling some few issues. one million. No Jews (no longer an offensive term) have self belief interior the divinity of Jesus. NONE. Messianic Jews are Christians and theirs is a Christian church. It has surely no longer something to do with Judaism. 2. There are actually not now nor ever have been a Jew that has known Jesus as a prophet. people who say so are non Jews in basic terms attempting to soften the Jewish view that Jesus has surely no relevance to Judaism. Which brings us to the Jewish view of Jesus which extremely is that he's a non entity. Judaism does no longer remark on Jesus anymore than it does on Muhammed, Confucius, Buddha or the founding father of the different faith. Jesus isn't called a rabbi of word (he surely predated the term "Rabbi") nor a instructor. There are Jews of differing evaluations on no count if or no longer Jesus surely existed. i've got self belief that maximum Jews do think of there substitute right into a historic Jesus. inspite of the undeniable fact that as far as Jewish teachings and theology, it extremely is beside the point. Billions of persons have existed interior the final 2000 years, Jesus might or won't have been certainly one of them. If no longer for our interplay with Christians in the process the final centuries, the subject of Jesus might in no way even arise. in case you regard Jesus as your God and savior, Judaism has surely no concern with what you have self belief. in case you communicate him the Messiah then you in basic terms have a plenty distinctive definition of Messiah than how Judaism makes use of the term. actuality is that Jesus substitute into surely no longer the Jewish Messiah. He isnt even a outstanding candidate.

I was in Jerusalem just recently. You can almost 'see' the blindness over the jews eyes. They are a lovely gentle people, who genuinely seek to please their God. However, they are deliberately 'blinded' by God, until 'the fullness of the gentiles' come in. That is to fulfill another old testament prophecy that 'His House will be a house of prayer for all nations'. Only Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah can bring Jew and Gentile together.
May the blessed Lord open their eyes, the remnant He will call!
(PS i know many Jews that have had their eyes 'opened' to their messiah. My mothers family were also Jews)

1. Muhammad did not fulfill ANY prophecies that were told in the old testament, he's a nobody that many people followed blindly.
2. Jesus won't come back to satisfy anyone, He will just come back, ready or not. Jesus doesn't have to accommodate people. If they believe in Him, they will go with Him, if they don't, they won't. It's that simple.

Jesus has returned in the Glory of the Father and He has attracted pure souls from religious and nonreligious communities. Those who accept Him know that He is the return of the Manifestation of the One True God, the Holy Spirit. Those who don't receive Him may think that they themselves are all-knowing, they need no education from a divine Teacher.

Because the Jewish Messiah has a very specific set of requirements to fulfill. Jesus did not fulfill even half of them. Ergo, he was not the Jewish Mesiah.

the jews rejected jesus when he came and god put a veil over their spiritual eyes because of it. who knows why they rejected jesus when he was here.
in the last days their eyes will be opened and they will all accept jesus, but unfortunately it will take another hollocaust to do so.
