"some people" will never accept that my god will never look like theirs. you know, since they got that picture of him from photomat all those years ago. ..i will not name it, names are over rated. in concept i suppose its as fufilling as the next, it comes and goes.

can we go get that goat yet?, i'll let you pick our soundtrack, mostly. we'll have a gay o'l time.

After years of being in all kinds of religions, philosophies and in the company of intelligent people, I have been shaped by a kind of personal applied religious philosophy, which is a mixture of Buddhism, Scientology, Christianity and most spiritual or religious "principles" you might care to mention.... A sort of religion of common sense and personal integrity.
I have meditated with the Divine Light Mission and the Orange people and tried to get something from the Harri's. I experienced a spiritual rebirth in the name of Jesus Christ but in the end Experience is not really "truth" but an aspect of it.. so I just go with good thinking. The motto I like is "what works for you is true for you." Seeking personal spiritual freedom has been the mermaid song I have been chasing. Start with a good dictionary of the English language. Read it on the toilet etc, and eat every word. See what happens then. Philosophy is the love and pursuit of wisdom. The key is to "find out how to know" rather than finding a "what to know". It is the only fulfillment worth the effort. There is a security in the confident ability to sort out "the wheat from the chaff". It is a continually evolving level of ability that leads to greater and greater understandings. It is a path that you can only follow successfully with personal integrity as the mediator. Amen.

I'm Jewish and I find it fulfilling to the utmost respect. It isn't just a matter of what religion you follow though. It is also your approach to it, and the way that the community of followers uphold and treat everything that really make the difference in terms of the religion's affect on you.

I wouldn't say I follow a religion. Like the first and third answerers, I have no belief in a god or gods, but I'd feel silly saying 'atheism is my religion'. The worldview that corresponds most closely to my own is called humanism, but I don't see it as a religion either.

I find my worldview highly fulfilling.
