The BIble says that when we die we will stand before God on Judgement day. nothing will be hidden from his eyes. the Ten Comandments will be God's standard, and if we have broken Gods Ten Commandments by lying, stealing, looking with lust etc, we will be found in terrible situation on Judgement day and Lose our soul forever in Hell. however, God loved us so much that he sent his only son Jesus to suffer and die on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins. if you will Confess and repent of your sns once and for all and trust Jesus as your savior, God will forgive you and grant you eternal life.

You are almost right but the Ten Commandments aren't the standard. Christian have a different standard given to us by Christ Himself.
Matthew 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
That is all a man must obey to earn his way into heaven. Other wise God has made arrangements for His Justus to be satisfied by the blood Christ shed on Calvary's cross. He offered His life as an eternal sacrifice for sin. He became sin who knew no sin that we may be made the righteousness of God in Him....Jim

Something like a belief need not be forced without considering it through. That wouldn't be faith. It would be blindness. I do not discredit the Bible. In fact, i will point out to you that the Bible not only have ten commandments but at least a hundred.

It said to gouge out your eye or cut your arm when it causes you to sin. Now you don't think that was intended to be literal, don't you? Many people are now blinded and think they will be saved because they had "faith". They are actually blinded, emotionally high people. Trust in yourself and you will discern those who have greater understanding, than those who blindly accept.

I was in a state somewhat similar to yours, just this year. But in a span of 6 months, i have probably thought of of life more than i had ever been my whole life. You're gonna be fine, just don't let go when things seem confusing. Good luck.

That is correct. You will be judged by all TEN of the commandments, not just nine of them as most say. They want you to believe the fourth one has been done away with, is a Jewish thing, but where was the Jew when they were given? There were none yet. Hebrews and Jews are two entirely different things. There were not Jews till the tribes were formed and then they came from the tribe of Judah. That is where they get Judaism.

I think hell is a way for GOD to scare people...
would I really think I needed a savior from , I dunno, an ice cream parlor???
Also, James says if you are going to be judged by the law on judgement day, it's the whole law--including the sacrificial laws of the old testament...

John 3: 16“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17“For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

18“He who believes in Him is *not judged*; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Before you die, you are judged in regards to heaven or hell...did you believe God died for all your sins or not-did you know you deserved hell And still do---the judgemnet for works is only for those who will be in heaven for rewards and loss of rewards (I Cor. 3:11:15)

I don't know where is the logic of confessement will erase all of your sins.....when somebody is stealing or robbing or killing in this country their gonna to jail or executed by Law that is made by Human...and that's the law they said for justice..

so where is the justice of God when somebody who is really - really mean adn cruel and he knows that it was wrong, but he still did it....and he just said that before I died I'm gonna confess it and then Im going to heaven with God.....

with this kind of law that god made, I am not sure if this world will gonna be live in peace...and I don't think God's law can be applied in this world because people will just do bad things and before they died, they're gonna confess it...and then go to heaven...

anyways...how about the baby who is not christian and die before he knows everything and it still carrying the sins that Adam and eve made before..... that baby would not know how to confess it sins and is he gonna go to hell just because he doesnt confess it??

for me all the babies who were born in this world don't carry any sins and he is not carrying any sins until he knows right and wrong in this life....when he grow up, he knows right and wrong in this world and become unbeliever to God's words... then he should get punishment for what he did it unless he ask fogiveness and never done them ever again.... and before he die..because when somebody about to die and ask forgivenes, for me..it's no use....

If he sent his son and that was the plan why did Jesus look up right before he died and ask his father," why have you foresaken me?"
