no, love is a fickle thing, and unrequited love, is painful, and sad, you'll only end up wasting your love on someone who obviously doesn't need it, you'll miss out on the people right in front of you

If you really love them, I believe it's possible. Very painful , but if you're committed to them you can sustain it as long as you want. It happens a lot, probably more often than people realize. Look at all of the fairy tales. But in reality, I think if it's unrequited it can somehow make the person love them even more because people have a tendency to love and want what they can't have.

Yes and no. You always love them, but the move down in priorities as you aquire new loves at least on a sexual basis.

Some people just love being around some people. A new person has even more of that an the previous loves drops on the list. This happens more often with sexual love. In other words love of the opposite sex.

You meet a guy or girl you'd love to marry and they don't return the love, you still love them if it's true love.

After a while you find someone else you'd love to marry and that love becomes stronger because it's newer.

The old love still remains, it just moves down the list a little.

If you, like most people are speaking of emotional love, which is attached, possive, conditional. As pure sunlight passes through water crystals and seperates into the colors of the rainbow, DIVINE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE passes through the MENTAL CONCEPTS and EMOTIONS of the MIND and seperates into emotions,i,e.; love/hate,Mental concepts i.e.; in/out,up/down,good/bad. DUALITY. this is the fruit of eating or the tree of knowledge of good and evil. I PRAY you may get still and ask God for the experience of devine LOVE.
