What do you hold most dear? And do you think we appreciate more that which comes easy to us or that for which we struggle and work hard for? For me this is my two sons. They were not easy for me to get. I had 4 miscarriages and 1 stillbirth before their births and they were hard pregnancies and deliveries. The doctors did not want me to continue the pregnancies. They thought we would not survive. What do you value and did it cost much or little?

I value my wife first and foremost.

I agree with your idea that we appreciate most what comes with difficulty - however I'm not sure if I can use the word 'difficult' to describe the love my wife and I have for each other, yet that doesn't change its supremacy to me.

Just makes me realise I'm lucky.

I hold my daughter and husband dear :) For me, getting and being pregnant was pretty easy, and my daughter is a pretty easy child. My husband and I have had our share of ups and downs in different situations throughout our marriage (7 years in Dec) but through it all, we both still love and care about each other and hold each other accountable, and look forward to the same goals. I value my marriage a lot because it is a lot of work!

My Family

I value the people in my family. I want them to be in heaven with me. So, I really work on teaching the Bible to my children.

Not only do I want them to be in heaven with me, I want them to live a life that glorifies God. So, I teach my girls what God wants from them as a woman. I teach my boys what God wants from them as a man. I also teach them that walking a path of righteousness will not be easy. They will have suffering for being in the faith. If they don't experience some suffering for being a Christian, then they aren't proclaiming Christ very loudly.

I would say every thing, the air we breath, the way that a tree blows in the wind. The way a mother comforts a child when the child trips and falls. The same way that God comforts us when we fall. It gets me thinking that God predestined us to be conformed into the image of His Son. That makes it the most valuable desire to be like Christ...

my family
my husband and children
i have had to work very hard to keep my marriage together as my husband has been very ill both physically and mentally with depression
which has taken its toll on me and the children
but we all love him dearly and things that you love are worth fighting for
and when you come through it , you are all so much stronger for it

there is a little saying ... when you are going through hell , keep going

I hold my fiance and my family most dear, and my religious views actually take a second place to them.
