The majority of muslims obviously support terrorism just by their lack of failure to reign in their terrorist population of their religion. Why are not the muslims leaders speaking out against the terrorists? They obviously must agree and enjoy the actions of the muslim terrorist. Also, it's a bunch of BS that Islam is a religion of peace when Islam itself means 'Submit'.

Many new-agy movements preach such an apocalyptical event, expecting the arrival of "ascended masters".

Do you do life diminishing activities like smoking and/or drinking? Have you contemplated taking your own life on a regular basis? Is your life what your social circle tell you it is? Does solitude depress you? Do you find relief in escaping your own thoughts by talking chronically with others? If you said yes to one ? you probably are.

I believe in a creator of some sort, however I cant not see how he is a personal god like the bible says. The word personal means close and upfront. If god was a personal god, he would be here among us, down upon the earth where we could see him, talk to him and worship him face to face. He wont be a personal god until after this world and then only to those who make it to heaven. Am I right or wrong?

Followers of all the religions believe in miracle type instances, which otherwise are unbelievable in the real world. They just assume that what is written in the book is true and beyond criticism. On the basis of that they form their beliefs but neither can prove those nor feel the need for its proof.

but I feel very intimidated by my lack of Christian upbringing, and my ignorance. Every church I have tried to go to, I feel so out of place, and uncomfortable, and (please don't laugh), I am terrified someone will ask me to pray, and I would be embarrassed because I don't know how. Any suggestions how to get over these feeling? I really want to get my kids involved in a church.

Ok, so I've said before that the part of Christianity that I hate the most is the idea that good people who just so happen to be non-Christian will go to hell, while someone who kills and rapes and does awful things his entire life yet converts right before he dies is forgiven and goes to heaven. I just can't bring myself to believe in any god who would do that to people, and not admit someone into either paradice or damnation based on their merits as a human being.

I've been told more than once that "just because you don't like it, dosn't mean it's not true." Which got me to thinking; If someone proved to me beyond a doubt that the Christian god was real, and that he really does throw good non-Christians into hell and let bad Christians into heaven, I still would not worship him. Such a cruel god dosn't deserve my worship.

What do you think of this? Can you really blame me?

Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will turn away from the true faith; they will follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons. These people are hypocrites and liars, and their consciences are dead.

Please dont avoid the question and go off ranting

Dont misquote me. I never said your skydaddy is evil

HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING, OK?

but if you want to challenge the hypothetical question, check out this website http://www.evilbible.com

Hypothetically speaking, if you had to choose one, which would you choose? To believe in a evil God or be an Atheist?

I know God is fake. I'm just doing a little research

Why is not possible that both belongs here on earth? Could it be sometime in the past it was heaven & now it has become like hell? And, due to cyclic pattern of the world, heaven will exist again after destruction.

in Islam we only worship god ,we dont worship things or people that are created by him, that we can see, hear, smell, imagine ....(even if they are so great people like his messengers ....)
this is the way of worship in islam.
this unity(oneness) of god is so beautiful in islam, because truth is beautiful,
and in fact when you are in a dangerous situations when you really need help, you talk to god naturally and ask him to help you,
in those moments maybe you dont even think about god`s name
but you know you talked to ONE same god. a god who is so near to us(it is mentioned in the holy quran that god is closer to us than our neck`s vein), yes he is closer to us than ourselves,

and we believe he is the best in everything (he is perfect) and logically it is impossible to have more than one best in everything.
why some people associate creatures with the creator????
he is the most powerful, all knowing, most kind ....
