in Islam we only worship god ,we dont worship things or people that are created by him, that we can see, hear, smell, imagine ....(even if they are so great people like his messengers ....)
this is the way of worship in islam.
this unity(oneness) of god is so beautiful in islam, because truth is beautiful,
and in fact when you are in a dangerous situations when you really need help, you talk to god naturally and ask him to help you,
in those moments maybe you dont even think about god`s name
but you know you talked to ONE same god. a god who is so near to us(it is mentioned in the holy quran that god is closer to us than our neck`s vein), yes he is closer to us than ourselves,
and we believe he is the best in everything (he is perfect) and logically it is impossible to have more than one best in everything.
why some people associate creatures with the creator????
he is the most powerful, all knowing, most kind ....

dear home-buddy:
I dont say that only believing in one god
is enough for salvation (or getting to heaven) .
but believing in one god and submission to his will are both nessecery.
you know the major meaning of the word "Islam" is submission to god's will.
so satan knew that there was one god but when god commanded him and the angles to bow down to adam( when god had just created adam from clay) , satan refused to
bow down to adam and when god asked him why didnt you obey my command
he said i am better i am from fire, he is from soil.
so he failed the submission to god`s will
because he was so proud of himself and he put his pride abive god's will and after that he didnt repent and ...
so he was thrown out of the kingdom and. he asked for time till the day of judgement to tempt human beings and god accepted and ....
so we see because he did not submit to god`s will he lost the salvation .
Look we are given free will , wether we can use it to obey god's will and commands

or we can use our free will to obey our lusty desires,
our desicions makes our destiny .
of course you may argue "that no one can be perfect and without errors and sins,so our deeds are not important".
but the thing is god is "all knowing" he knows who tried sincerely to submit to his will. this simple
and he will forgive their sins and the salvation is like this in islam.
god know who sincerely tried to submit and he knows everything in our hearts
he will judge us based on our abilities and completely fairly.
well what I said is not all but I tried to make a point about salvation.
so beliving in one god and doing charity , praying ,fasting, repenting from oursins and trying sincerely to avoid them and.. .. ... .(in general submiting to his will sincerely) will lead you to salvation.

I am a muslim and i share the same beliefs!
However i am not sure about other religions.. directly or indirectly they also worship just one god... for example
HINDUS, they say that they worship just one god... but infront of an IDOL makes them to concentrate.... they directly worship an idol but says we are indirectly worshipping one god... which is not good... i've also heard that they also worship monkeys, cows (even cow slaughter is banned in most parts of india) the think that cow is god... but when we ask them how come cow be a god.. their answer is that god is everywhere... but he is more in cow.. so its kinda weird!
Christians however are the most conusing people.. most of them are going away from their religion, some say that Jesus was god.. some say jesus was son of god.. some say he was both... some say he was god in form of human... but muslims say that he was a GREAT PROPHET... ofcourse bible was revealed to jesus and wasnt written by Jesus.. so they are confused..
in Islam as in all other Abrahamic religions we worship 1 GOD...!Thats it!

that's between the numerous situation-free factors which would be got here upon between Muslims and Jews. the two faiths can direct their respective worships to God (a similar God, by utilising the way) with none mediation. we are you and our Jew brothers and sisters in seeing God because of the fact the only one we worship. We know God's elegance in introduction yet they are not merchandise of adoration contained in a similar way that it somewhat is modern in different faiths. What you wrote would've been written by utilising any Christian.

As a pagan, I accept that there are a multiplicity of forces acting in the world, not always in concert and sometimes in direct conflict. In paganism, we understand that we don't have all of the answers, that no one does, and that the best part of the journey is exploring our questions. We'll never have all of the answers and we're okay with that.
As a pagan, I don't have to look at anyone as being horrible for the god that they worship. I understand that this world is diverse and that each and every strange and odd person (even the ones I don't particularly like) have their place. I'm okay with that.
When a pagan worships, we honor our deities, and so doing we honor that diversity - that powerful, odd, beautiful diversity that makes up this universe. Our worship is not simple prayer, it's the outpouring of heart with song, with body, with an offering. We are unabashed and unashamed of our humanity - we celebrate our strengths and try to overcome our weaknesses, but we understand that we did not come into the world to meet a standard of perfection. We came into the world to be human. We came into the world to try and fail and grow from the experience.
We honor a vast continuum of being reaching from ourselves to our ancestors, into the shadowy past, even to the very gods and goddesses. We know who we are, we know who we come from. We don't associate creatures with the Creator. We know who formed the world. We honor the creators, we honor our gods, we honor our ancestors, and we look forward to future generations.
Thank you for sharing your beliefs and for allowing me to share mine in kind.

It doesnt make sense that jesus is the son of God. God is all powerful yet he couldnt take care of salvation and sin on his own so he had to employ the help of a carpenter

a very beautiful statement of the way it is...when everyone actually understands the unity of God there will be no need for religions, there will be only spirituality.

But you will grant me that on one occasion or two, the "most kind" has instructed the killing of people who didn't see things his way, or his prophet's way. That definition of "kindness" seems a bit odd to some of us.
