They are both retarded if you ask me.

I've never understood how God could expect His creatures to pick the one true religion by faith—it strikes me as a sloppy way to run a universe.

Since the Koran is the third in a series of the three books and written in more modern times by comparison, that fact alone would make me believe that Islamic philosophy has more intellectual value.

The Koran is much more intact that the other two books and Islamic rhetoric has vastly fewer contradictions than what was written before it.

My vote goes to Islam.

As far as intellect goes, both Christianity AND Islam have numerous opportunities for scholarly study, discussion, and debate. The Bible and the Koran both require skill, dedication, and concentration to read and understand.
Don't choose a religion based on its required skill to understand; choose it based on its Truth.
I'm a Christian, so I really can't help but advocate Christianity over Islam. If you want to discuss it furthur, you can contact me on my Yahoo 360 page.
Whatever you choose though, make sure you choose it because it is True, not Intellectual.

The Bible says that knowledge puffs up but loves builds up. I'm not too familiar with Islam, but I do know that the God of the Bible does not want to seem "superior" to anyone, even Muslims. Jesus said he came to serve not to be served. Although a king, he took the role of a servant, and washed the feet of the disciples.

It's all about what makes more sense to you, especially in the case of Christianity VS. Islam since they both worship the same One God. Personally, Christianity just makes more sense to me than any other religion.

I would suggest that neither is. Religion deals with the spiritual aspects of life and the spirit is apart from the physical flesh. Intellect is a necessity in the physical life but it is uncertain how much will continue and carry over into the Spiritual life after death.

Islam offers no solution to the sin problem, so it is a worthless religion. Mohammed was a shallow author and repeated and contradicted himself incessantly.

I vote for Islam.
Please people before you judge a religion try to know more about it from its own sources and avoid insult to not to increase hatered in this world.
i should mention taht there is a difference between Islam and Muslims. The Muslims today are a bad example for a great religion.

neither one. The bible is inspired and true.
However, muslims don't use the bible and the Christians are worst they distort it so much and take on so many pagan doctrines that it is hardly recognizeable.
There is more pagan doctrines in Christianity it said then they ever used of the true bible teachings.
Churches are all about money and they are big business.
Muslims is all about control. We have to control the world.
Believe or die. Only they may be the ones who die in the end.

i assume you realize that Mohommed was illiterate and could not read or write.

He heard stories from Chrisitan workers in his day and relied on his memory to tell them his own way and put forth a test.
Jews and Christians should check that the Torah and gospels agree with what he says... and they do not

We know form the writings of the early church fathers that all but 11 verses of the new testament are quoted before the end of the second century so we know the New Testament was inteact longlong before the 7th centruy of Mohammeds day... so this puts Islam in considerable dilemna intellecturally as it is its own test

Sure, Islam... i challenge anyone to find a single contradiction in the Quraan, but Bible (unfortuantly) is full of contradictions (christians them selves admit so). As ppl modified and rewrote the Bible...
