I love creativity inspired by God, I think is a wonderful tribute to our creator. Do you write poetry about God? I do.

I find it hilarious that those who say they're "christians" don't know ANYTHING about what being a "christian" means. I'm trying to find out if anyone really knows what they're talking about.

If god is omnipotent, (everywhere all the time, for you thick people), then that must mean he's always in every bar, nightclub and pub on earth all the time.Surely that makes him a mega piss artist? He doesn't even leave when they close, and you religious types trust this super drunk?...pah.

As we look at the world around us, we see people who live successful, famous, happy life while we also see people who live miserable, sad, porr life. Just this week, as I was walking on the street of Manhattan, I saw so many successful businessman & women as well as beggars, homeless people seeking donations.
Nobody wants to be poor, miserable, terrible life. Everybody wants to be successful, famous, happy, and live wonderful life. That is a fact. But then why do some people live the wonderful life while some people keep suffering? Who gets to decide who lives good life and who lives bad life? What if trying hard is not enough to improve life?

What countries are being described other than Isreal? When will these wars happen? It appears at the start of Daniel 12 that the next thing to occur is Christ's second advent or return to the earth to bring His saints home.

They only blindly repeat bible parables and revelations. They build up on that with anything that might be related and draw conclusions out of authority, not demonstrability. For you that go to church, ask tricky questions to the priest: Here are some examples:
Where did Christ spend his adolescence?
Why are several aspects of the bible copied on previous myths? (ask google for which)
Was Barabbas a terrorist (an Essene agent)? Not a thief?
On which grounds were discarded the Dead Sea Scrolls (archeological find)?
Why do stigmatas appear on/in the hands when the Romans crucified people through the wrists or only bound the arms to the poles? (the crucifixion through the hands cannot hold the body without tearing the flesh)
Why are there so many contradictions of the same theme in the Bible? (again check the internet)
Why are there so many prejudice against the other tribes in the Bible?
Why does the bible recognize slavery in many cases?

I used to get a big kick out of this self righteous, Bible thumping blowhard. Now his profile says he's been suspended from YA. Did he lose his cool or say something so stupid or hateful it was over the top?

And where was God when Mainworry needed him? Whose side is God on anyway?

How is this? Who knew these detailsto write them in the Koran? Not Mohammed--he came hundreds of years after Jesus. I don't see how someone can fill in these blanks if they weren't around, or even in the same geographic area. ?

Religion=Psychosis?

Isn't it extremly hypocritical for christian americans to view radical muslims in a negative light?

I mean, when christians first came to america they claimed a land that wasn't rightfully theirs, insisted on staying, killed many of the natives and attempted to force their religion on those who remained. how is that any better than what some muslims are doing currently? how is it any different from what hitler did to the jews?

Granted, there were no bombs and machine guns back then... but HYPOTHETICALLY, is there really a difference?

i'd like some valid responses to this question.

-Please no posts saying "because the bible says so, blah blah."

-if you can't spell and are ignorant of all things grammar-related, don't bother posting an answer here.

-please, no smartass comments.

Thanks.

...This is my major problem with fundamentalist theists and atheists alike. There is no way that anyone who has ever lived can know the truth. Some say they know because of the Bible, or some say they know because of the lack of God in everyday life. Either way these arguments are just foolish. There is just no way to know anything outside of our universe. So can we all just call ourselves agnostic (the word literally means one who knows nothing) and focus on making the actual reality we live in a little better?!?

I was born catholic but then learned about the bible as i grew older...When i was 6 i have my first baptism but i had another when i was 17 coz that time i have a better understanding about God and truly accept Jesus as my Savior... now i am working oversea and met few Christians, some are missionaries, i do join their charity projects sometimes and they do encourage me to share the gospel and win souls for the Lord...but im curios why they are not practicing baptism anymore??? i havent asked them yet but surely will...is praying the sinners prayer, accepting Jesus as Savior, repenting and share the gospel...enough for us to be considered save??? even without being baptized??? thats what's puzzling me...bcoz non of my christian friends here talk about baptism...they do serve the Lord with all their hearts, and share the good news to others...but never witnessed baptizing anybody...
i need some help here...God bless u all!!!
