If so many discoveries made by science have gone against religion already(ex. evolution, the creation of earth, prehistoric life), why do they still try to constantly deny these obvious facts.

I don't even believe in God, so why would he "save" me? Why would he let others, who prayed to him every day, die?

How does this make any sense at all?

Can you give me one piece of evidence toward the earth being older then 6000 or so years in age? Mind you I am going to combat your eviendence.

1) The moon is leaving the earth. It i sgetting farther away each year. It also governs the tides. In the past of course the moon was closer. Causing the tides to be so strong that it would flood all of the earth twice daily. And not that long ago either.

2) The earth is slowing down. They call it a leap second. About every two to three years the earth spins one second slower per year. If you look in the past the earth was spinning faster. You wouldn't have to go that far back and everything on earth would fly off into space because of the speed of the earth's spin thus proving earth can;t be millions and millions of years old.

"Surely, God could have caused birds to fly with their bones made of solid gold, with their veins full of quicksilver, with their flesh heavier than lead, and with their wings exceedingly small. He did not, and that ought to show something. It is only in order to shield your ignorance that you put the Lord at every turn to the refuge of a miracle." -Galileo Galilei

You know i asked a question on here about religion and i had some answers where some Christians were saying i was picking and choosing what i wanted and throwing the rest away - which seemed - to them anyway to be a bad thing. OK That's their right. But then why can they answer other questions about why do Christians do "this" or why don't Christians do "that" & they say "that's from the old testament - so it doesn't count. Read the new testament". Isn't that picking and choosing what they want out of it and throwing the rest away? Aren't the Old Testament and the New Testament all in the same Bible? Sounds hypocritcal to me. So i am asking someone to please explain to me why it is OK for Christians to pick and choose what they want out of the Bible and preach it all over...but others do it (and not just me talking about others in general) and Christians get all bent out of shape and say we'll go to hell for it? Or commiting a sin or God will punish you or etc etc etc. ???

This is a serious question. Please do not be offended by the notion that Jesus may have had a sex drive and may have acted on it. There is a strong possibility that because he was in the flesh, that he indeed had a sexual drive. There's also a possibility that he acted on it and procreated. That's much easier to believe than a man with no sexual drive and no children at the age of 30 plus years. Another scenario might be that he was homosexual. What is your theory on the subject?

when you see a clock you need no proof to know that there was a wise designer and maker behind that clock, now in a greater scale look at all the order in the universe , coming and giong of seasons, day and night, rain cycle... the way our body works, hormones and.... ... ...
how can you say "oh it was all accidental" ,
the probability that it all is accidental is 0 (if you have studied probability in the mathematics)
why do you want to base your life in 0 probability??.

One that I thought of this morning as I sadly watched the news (another story of a son killing his mom) is that children will hate their parents.

II Timothy 3:1-5 says

"But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, DISOBEDIENT TO THEIR PARENTS, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them."

Do you think the reason that Christianity will become illegal is because Islam will be the world-wide religion? Between Muslims and atheists, there is enough hatred for Christians to go around.

The message is still out. Bin-Laden likes must be loving this. Non-Muslims in the name of "exposing Islam" as an evil, intolerant religion are preaching their (Bin-Laden likes) message of extremism extensively. While there is a crackdown on Imams/Mosques that preach that same message of extremism.

Their intentions might be different but they still provide all the material and fabricated evidence in which a normal Muslim could be decieved in thinking "they must kill all non-Muslims", "blowing themselves up is martyrdom" not suicide (which is a grave unforgivable sin in Islam), ... etc extremely dangerous information available on websites (faithfreedom, jihadwatch, islamexposed, ..more), books, movies,..

This is not Islam, nor does info like this serve any decent person. This is info extremists feed on (Muslim/Non-Muslims).

Why are we allowing info preached like this become mainstream? It's still promoting the violence and hateful message which is dangerous.
