Well my brother in Christ I agree with you , all Christians should be doing what God told us to do and that is to tell others about Him so that they can get to know him. I am a baby in Christianity but I know that I know that I know that God is real and that He is coming back and I want my name and all that I know to be in the book of Lamb. I want to go to heaven with our Father God and live in peace forever more.. He has brought me through so many trials and tribulations I love Him and I want everyone to be safe..Please all that are reading this if you have not done it already please confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ was raised from the dead and is our Saviour......God bless one and all..thanks for this question.

Who is this Jesus any way,and why should we consider all the losers that are deceived to believing they are following him. to me if your a fan or admire someone, you will find yourself walking and talking like that person in other ways mimicking mannerisms. since none of us were around when he walked earth, we can only go by the word and what you feel in your guts. In my book a christain is a rep. of christ and would not by force or bully sales tecniques persuade his order. a christain would lead by example and show others the right way to handle problems of life and still be courteous and helpfull. Do his job the best he can and when asked tell as you would tell a child, just enough for that person to absorb at that time. it wil be less confusing to a beginner under the cloak of the Master. Jesus is the Master and has so much to teach us .the lessons of Christ are not able to be contained by any boundry!

I just shared an answer similar to this for a girl who is worried about her family not believing. She's just 13, and she's concerned about her family going to Hell.

I think some well-meaning Christians get overzealous. We forget what the Bible teaches. Turn the other cheek. The meek will inherit the Earth. Do unto others.

We should follow Jesus' example. The only people he challenged were the religious leaders. He didn't argue with the ungodly. The apostles preached the Gospel to unbelievers, but from what I can tell, they didn't debate a whole lot. They just put it out there for them to decide. That's what I try to do.

My Bible study just went through 1 Peter. There's a lot in the first couple of chapters about living your life so that others will see it and notice. As Christians, we need to be set apart (holy), different. We shouldn't try to hard to blend in. It is through the change they see God making in our lives that they will be attracted to God.

If you haven't done so, read Max Lucado's "It's Not About Me." In it, he talks about how we are to be God's mirrors to the world. We are to live to glorify God so that others can find him.

This quote is supposed to be from St. Francis of Assisi, "Preach the Gospel at all times. When necessary, use words." Your life is the loudest Gospel anyone will ever hear. Let your life be Christ-like, and others will be attracted.

I'm pretty sure it says somewhere in the Proverbs that it's a waste of time to argue with a fool (defined by the Bible as one who rejects God). Jesus also warned about throwing pearls to swine.

God gives each person an opportunity to find him. If they choose to turn away, we cannot pursuade them back with our wit and wisdom. All the proofs in the world won't pursuade 99% of unbelievers. They simply blow them off. They choose to believe otherwise so they can continue in their current lifestyle.

I leave you with II Corinthians 2:

14But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. 15For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. 16To the one [the perishing] we are the smell of death; to the other [the saved], the fragrance of life. And who is equal to such a task? 17Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, like men sent from God.

First, I pray for the person to be led to a Christian who lives by the Word. Then, if I post an answer, I do my best to word it in a non-critical way.

In my opinion, being the best example of JESUS is the most affective way to win others over. (However, it is soooo hard for me to be CHRIST-like, but I just keep praying to be a better person and an honest witness.)

Good luck & GOD bless.

Just today I obeyed God...I had prayed for a week about whether or not I was to volunteer to teach Sunday school. It's not something I truly wanted to do, but had felt God's nudging me to do it. I obeyed and feel blessed for having obeyed. So in answer to your question, yes, I do feel as if I am obeying God. I don't think we can just assume we have achieved the mark, we always need to be working for God to the extent that he called us for.

I believe that I'm doing what God told me to do but I also know that I can go higher and be more educated in the things of God.

I usually give bible quotes with my answers because I believe my opinion means very little.
Matthew 28: 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

2 Timothy 3: 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Doing all we can doesn't mean bashing people over the head with truth they're not ready to hear. There is some pretty unchristian stuff going on here. Where do Christians get the idea that name-calling and belittling people is Christian?

in line with possibility in case you wait and pray genuine problematic, mom's gents pals will come play with YOU! Ah, like Lot in Sodom. What exciting! i'm shocked at Holy Lamb's reaction. no longer something holy approximately it. it somewhat is merciless, unquestionably. How's it sense to be merciless, Holy Lamb?? ~~*Throws Holy Lamb contained in the cooker*~~ How's it sense to get ROASTED? i'm no longer the only one going to be sure, sucker! chippie - Why would desire to you mostly, unendingly insist that Christ is Lord? It sounds to me such as you are attempting to persuade your self. Obsessive-compulsiveness would be taken care of, you be conscious of. I hear Paxil is quite useful. Do you easily think of that by utilising with no bring about sight repeating your self you are going to learn something?

Amen to that, my brother in Christ. I believe we SHOULD jsut lead them... we shouldn't argue. They just want to get us mad... but it works for most of them, but some r kind and patient with them. I argue with them, but i turn my arguement into a nice confrontation paragraph where i show them how wrong they r and how right Jesus is. then i lead them to Jesus like that.
