Breaking any of the Ten Commandments
Exodus 20: 3 "You shall have no other gods before me.
4 "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
7 "You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
8 "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates.
11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
12 "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
13 "You shall not murder.
14 "You shall not commit adultery.
15 "You shall not steal.
16 "You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
17 "You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."
Matthew 6:19 Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
21 "You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.'
22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca, 'is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.
23 "Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you,
24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.
25 "Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still with him on the way, or he may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison.
26 I tell you the truth, you will not get out until you have paid the last penny.
27 "You have heard that it was said, 'Do not commit adultery.'
28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
29 If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.
31 "It has been said, 'Anyone who divorces his wife must give her a certificate of divorce.'
32 But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, causes her to become an adulteress, and anyone who marries the divorced woman commits adultery.
33 "Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not break your oath, but keep the oaths you have made to the Lord.'
34 But I tell you, Do not swear at all: either by heaven, for it is God's throne;
35 or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.
36 And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black.
37 Simply let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No'; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
38 "You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.'
also Romans 1:18 The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness,
19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.
20 For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities-- his eternal power and divine nature-- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.
21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened.
22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools
23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another.
25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator-- who is forever praised. Amen.
26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones.
27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.
28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.
29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips,
30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents;
31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.
32 Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.
Gal 5:17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions
21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
1 Corintians 6:9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
Revelation 20: 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars-- their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
P.s. for those people creating their own lists, the definition of sin is directly tied into God's will and His desire for our best.
Ps. nothing in the Bible says the anyone who says they are a Christian and continues in these sins willfully is not still judged for their sin.

The Seven Deadly sins have been around since the 13th century and are the most well-known in this country.
These are:
Pride
Envy
Anger
Avarice
Sloth
Gluttony
Lust
They are considered roots because all other sin sprouts from one of these seven
You could go into the OT and find out that cutting your hair or eating anything from the ocean without fins and gills are sins. There are many other such silly things labeled sinful but humans now know better.
This is the way to determine a sin.
SIN is whatever obscures the soul.
Andre Gide
We all have spirit and know when we are doing something or saying something hurtful to another...............if it feels bad, don't do it.

I have read the Holy Bible through so many times. What I have noticed is that there are so many sins mentioned there. Asking one to mention them is saying too much, it as if you are asking one to count sand. The person asking such a question wanted to make his 5 points and not that he was actually waiting for someone to mention the sins in the Bible except you were just asking for some.

There are so many! :) How could you think of them all? You can come up with basic categories but then people can be very creative with their sins and keep making more and more of them - which would still all be wrong under the same categories even if not mentioned by name in the scriptures...
Most sins fall into 3 basic categories though: lust of the eyes (desiring what you see in a bad way like wanting someone else's mate, house, being jealous, etc.); lust of the flesh (actually sinning with your body - like fornication, murder, stealing, etc.); the pride of life (why you desire these bad things - like overly proud, no humility, constant competition with others, trying to exalt oneself at all costs, etc.)

There are many sins that are listed in God's word. As you have stated, lies, slander, adultery, fornicating, murder, to name a few. And after they are named there is a whole list of things that God finds displeasing to Him. Also what one person would count another would not. So it is difficult, if not impossible to list all of them.
However, it all can be boiled down to sin being when we do not love God with our whole heart, and our neighbor as ourselves. So I would say sin is when we do not walk in love towards God, or our fellow man.

Greed is really one of the big sins, its the root of many, but also fear. Lust, gluttony, theft, adultery, all come from the want of something. Fear might even be the root of greed, IE. the fear of not getting what we want, or of what will happen if we don't get what we need. When one has fear, one can lie, worship other Gods, murder, hate, steal, & do all kinds of crazy terrible things...
But this would be my best answer:
The only act Christ seemed to imply was worthy of lashing out violently against was the abuse of the church (and God) for personal gain. One can look up the time he overturned the moneychanger's tables in the temple himself.

I will not get the 10 points for I do not know them all.If you maintain the 10 commandments and the Law of Jesus that transcends the 10 commandments you should not be able to sin.

We are! We are born with a sinful nature, due to the fall of Adam and Eve. Everything and anything that is short of bringing Glory to God is Sin! To ask someone to list all the sins is humanly impossible.

"But when you follow your own wrong inclinations your lives will produce these evil results:
impure thoughts
eagerness for lustful pleasure
idolatry
spiritism[that is ,encouraging the activity of demons]
hatred and fighting
jealousy and anger
constant effort to get the best for yourself
complaints and criticisms
the feeling that everyone else is wrong except those in your own
little group[and there will be wrong doctrine and divisions]
envy
murder
drunkenness
wild parties and all that sort of thing...
Let me tell you again as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the kingdom of God."
