If so many discoveries made by science have gone against religion already(ex. evolution, the creation of earth, prehistoric life), why do they still try to constantly deny these obvious facts.

I would challenge you to prove to me that these theories of evolution, of the way the earth came into being, and the presence of pre-historic life are obvious facts.

Evolution is an unproven theory. Darwinian evolution has already been shown to be untenable. Evolution has more theories out there about evolution than you can imagine, because none of them really know. They only know what they believe--they believe evolution is true.

Physicists have theories about "how" the earth might have been created, or "how" the universe might have been created, but Physics can only ever answer how about anything, and the theories of physics keep changing.

If you study the true fossil record, and not the neatly made up one that doesn't bear any resemblance to the real geography of the earth you will find that there is no evidence for all those nice neat prehistoric ages whatsoever.

So let me challenge you to study what you believe to be "obvious facts" more deeply, to read some of what those who make something different of the available scientific data have to say, and then come back and ask your question again.

science bases everything on fact except one thing. the assumption that there was a big bang.. noone can prove this coz noone was there, however its a case of for something to be, it has to be made. Science cannot prove God's existence per se, but they acknowledge there had to be an intelligent design behind it all, which most religions refer as God or the Creator. I mean how amazing! Especially to create the human in all its complexities how can it just evolve. Evolution has to accept the first matter was created therefore it falls under the Creation category and evolution is cancelled out. If you read up about Darwin you will see that evolution was falsely proven a few hundred years ago due to racism and survival of the fittest, which was also gave Hitler ammunition for his own agenda to slaughter the Jews. Evolution has a theory on the bilogical fact that we have 23 chromosomes and so do apes, monkies etc. hence evolving from them.

But did you know that an orange also has 23 Chromosomes?

So did we evolve from an orange? lol

Religion & Science back each other up, really and truly they work in synergy, and can i just point out that scientology is also a religion. But as to why some religious people deny science? I dont know, your guess is as good as mine.

Because they are not facts - they are theories.
If you are a Christian - I can't speak for anyone else - then you know God is real because of what he does in your lives. Nothing can explain those things - even though people that don't believe try to give reasons why they don't believe - it makes no sense -
If you think about it - if evolution and the big bang theory was fact - then why would they continue to try and find more solid proof? It is because it isn't fact. If you think about it - the big bang theory is plain stupid - and the thought that we evolved from monkeys is even dumber. How come we turned human? Where did the monkeys come from in the first place? How come we stopped looking like monkeys and how come no other monkeys born have turned human? Why can we talk and they can't? The truth is - nothing would have been around in the first place for any of these theories to work without God being the one who created the earth. Plain and simple.
God works in our lives and if people would stop making excuses when it is right in front of them - then they would see there was no other way to explain it except through God.

The Bible never said that prehistoric life didnt exist. It makes mention of "great beasts". And how has science proved the theory of evolution or the creation of life? They have theories.

Where do non-believers think that that "huge rock" came from, did it just one day appear?

If there is a creation, then there must be a creator!

evolution is false and there is no evidence at all for it. Prehistoric life does not exist either. The earth is no more then 6000 or so years. Cehck out leap second if you doubt. The earth would spin too fast for anythign to stay on the planet just a million or so years ago. Plus teh moon which governs the tides is leaving us. Not even a million or so years ago the moon would have been so close to earth that the tides would flood the earth twice a day.

WOW It is amazing how many people speak without knowing anything. All of the things you mention are highly in debate. YOU are going to have to do the research and make your own decision. I could yell comments at you like others, but seriously... do you actually want to know the truth?

There are Scientists with PhD's from Harvard and other great universities with open challenges for any scientist to debate them. In three years none have accepted. You should question this!

Start here www.creationworldview.org

It will give you an alternative to what is in your text books. They ban this info in most states! What are they trying to hide? Please, get educated then join the debate with more than "Well I think...." We have 6 Billion people here with 6 billion opinions!

Hope this helps, email if you'd like.

you've been brainwashed Evolution" is an UNPROVEN theory. Carbon dating doesn't work. the "creation" of the earth is not something that can be proven either way... the "lab" CANNOT be re-created. More and more scientists suport a "young earth" (6,00-10,00 years old) theory, which is w/in the genealogy of the Bible. You need to read more, scientific materials, from creation scientists. It'll come down to faith, tho, whichseems to be absent from your question. ("Science" doesn't give answers; it creates more possibilities and/or questions). And, by the way: It's NOT a question of "religion." It IS a question of faith... in man or in God... no choice there!

I am not religious by all means but to let you know, nothing that we have discovered proves anything. At this point in the game, the religious buffs are as much correct as the scientific group. Actually, scientist are starting to believe that life on earth may only be a few thousand years old, not millions like previously thought. We don't know for sure, it is all just speculation.

In the beginning was God and He created the heavens and the earth and the fullness there of. God is smarter than His creation, and He doesn't lie. If you want the truth read the bible. If you want to believe science , go ahead. In the last days the bible says people will worship the creation more than the creator.
