Those are two potential elements of war. Wars are also about land rights, power, resources, and all sorts of things of that nature.

Atheism isn't the path to peace. Some atheists may consider themselves to be pacifists, but not all.

The path to peace and truth is complex, my friend. A dogma, or lack of dogma, is not what creates peace and promotes truth. Peace and truth must be attained on an individual level before it will ever occur on a collective level. That is, only individuals who have found peace and truth can live together peacefully and in truth. Any imposed order--or imposed chaos--will fail.

I would submit the Atheist are not the true path to peace. First it is not about believing in God or not. When a person put self first then anything that comes between that belief is cause for conflict. One person becomes offended by another, faith has not to do with it, but it offends the presence of self the both are willing to have conflict. the cause means nothing, just that self is offended. When that happens self must win out at all cost. Friendship are broken, marriages are broken, families are broken and all because people are more willing to put self before anything and all cost.

That is not religion, or faith, or even God. It is selfishness. Oh you can add religion in to the mix and make it much bigger and you will. but when you break it down to the person it all comes down to self.

It doesn't matter about religion, country, groups whatever, until self is taken out of the mix, there is no true path to peace.

I follow a faith in Jesus Christ (not religion) and by that faith I am to learn what Jesus did, how he lived, what he taught and model my life after that. What was the main thing he taught, putting others before yourself, serving others, treating others in a manner in which you would like to be treated yourself. Being Selfless instead of selfish. Having compassion for others (concerned passion, concerned love). Taking self out.
Call it a myth, fine but a good way to live. I would not trade it for anything else in the world.

That to me (and me alone) is a good way to real and lasting peace.

War can be about oppression, which can include theological beliefs within that, economics or theological beliefs. The statement is partially true only in that without a theological belief system an atheist will not start a war over theology. However, it would not stop one from starting a war over economics.

Ask him what was th eligion of stalin ( he killed millions of his own people ...)
Atheists talk about hypocrisy in some religions and forget that them selves they never condemned the killings of millions by atheists from URSS and France ( remember the massacres of the 50s and 60s in north africa ...)

Untruth.
God is against greed and oppression. God desires peace.
This is just another one of Satan's attempts to lead you down the road to Hell.
Don't listen to him. He's a liar!!!
