people can sin on purpose, in the same way someone can lie on purpose

It depends on what are defined as 'sins'. What the bible defines as sins makes it impossible for anyone not to have sinned. Sin on purpose? All the time. A lewd thought is a sin. Ever had one on purpose - a fantasy. 'Fraid so. When the sin net is cast so wide it is inevitable that some people will commit sins intentional although they may not know that what they do intentionally is a sin.

No I'm sorry to say that's not true, i sinned knowing it was a sin last night.
Usually when one does sin even though they know it's a sin while doing it, the "feel" at the time overcome by emotion, hormones or some other external force.

I sin on purpose all the time. I don't think I've ever "accidentally" sinned

Lots of people sin on purpose. Just look around in this forum, and you will see many blaspheming just for kicks.
Others ask questions about some sin (often sexual), hoping to justify their conduct. So, yeah. People sin deliberately and willfully all the time.

Wrong!!! If it were accidental it would not be sin, now would it. Sin is a concious choice to do something we know is wrong. He that knows to do right and does not do it, to him it is sin. 1 John

Accidents are not sins.
Sin is a deliberate thought, word, deed, or omission contrary to the eternal law of God.
Unfortunately people sin on purpose all the time.

On the contrary. Sin is defined as "rebellion". When yo uknow what you should do, then don't do it, you're sinning.
Watch the news once and see if people don't sin on purpose.

What is sin?
Commercial Christianity would have you believe that sin is some intangible something. It isn't.
Sin is the transgression of the law (1 John 3:4).

I'm sorry, but what planet do you live on? Sorry, but no, I just don't buy that at ALL!
People do bad things all the time and they do them on purpose. They can usually justify it, if only in their own minds, but they do them just the same.
I don't believe in hell, per se, but I believe in the universal law of attraction and that we experience the consequences in one form or another during our lifetimes for both the negative and positive vibrations that we put out into the universe!
