Write a fairy tale book, claim it's the word of God, bury it, someone finds it 2000 years later and believe it's the word of God

I sit here in wanton caloric transgression guys...Due to my weakened state I have taken a box of cookies and eaten several ( at least 5-6) with feelings of temptation to eat more. Have I sinned against the calorie gods ? Will they now feel free to come and smite me in the thighs and buttocks ? Will they unleash the fat fairies with cellulite vengeance and punish me for my skinniness ? Even now I feel their anger and those cookie demons are calling out to me, " Annie...we want you ! You want us ! Come and devour us !! "...Shall I hit the road and jog 3 miles to repent of my cookie sins ? Or should I be enslaved here to my sit ups...and eat low fat for a week ...consuming diet cokes for breakfast lunch and dinner ? Can anyone direst me to a mantra to chant that will free me from this cookie passion ?

my d-da isa preacher and hisa says tht the jesus isa comin back to snatch all us good ones off da earth and leave da bad ones to b burned alive by da great flames-O-wrath. So plza join my religion so u can be safe from da flames-O-wrath...they will burn and bbbbbb burn u to death so us'a join me and putsa money in my churches money basket us'a be safe. Because I've read about it a few times and even seen a show on the discovery channel. Apparently everytime the church needed followers they make Hell more gruesome so evenb less people want to "risk it". Another question, knowing this, why the hell would this convert anyone to any religion? It is obvious that it was man made to get more people under the churches belt back when they could use that power to manipulate the government, "Do what I say or I'll excommunicate your *** real good." Come on now.

The definition of monotheism is "the belief in one God". The Christians believe in 3 Gods. Even if it is "3-in-1", Christians are still polytheists. I

f you say no, then by that logic, Hindus are ALSO monotheists, as they worship God in different facets. You can't have it both ways. So what's the deal?

I feel as if the world is, in its own self, dying slowly as we sit, unawares. One day, the world will die. YOU might get to see that day.

All the negative emotions overpower the positive ones...jealousy...spite...fury...envy...

why not love...passion...happiness?

At school, these emotions are among our midst...

In the world, it's even worse with the TERRORISM, the WAR, etc.
We must do something to stop this chain of hate.

since religious poeple dont believe in evolution (no offense) then how do you exaclty say adam and eve got to earth i mean is lt like one second they werent there and next they were......and what about all the bodies and all we have found? and were adam and eve here before paleo age(old stone age) or did they come to earth after the stone age...and if they were really the first people on earth did not god teach them like how to farm back then instead of 3000 Bce later?

Why do Christians feel comfortable breaking the Golden Rule? How do the rationalize using part of the Bible to stand against granting gays and lesbians the same rights and priviledges granted by the US government with a marriage licence while completely disregarding the Golden Rule?


BTW, as informed here on Answers the Golden Rule can be found in Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31. A sincere thanks to the many who earlier provided that answer.

Once upon a time there was a man who didn't believe in God, Heaven or Hell and lived his life putting down and making fun of Christians. Even though many Christians tried to show him the path to Jesus, he refused to believe them. But one day he died. He then realized that he was in Hell. He felt his flesh burning and there were horrible demons all around him, and he was very scared. Above him he saw the face of God. The man said, "I'm sorry God that I didn't believe in you, I see now that you are real." He also could see in the distance a beautiful paradise. He said, "Please someone help me! I dont want to be here! God please save me!" But, it was too late. God said, "You rejected my son in life, now you will suffer here for eternity." THE END!!!
Why does it seem that there are so many athiests in the religion site? I think they are scared that just maybe us Christians are right. Too bad it will be too late for them when they finally discover that. Anyone want to comment to that?

they say it a way for the devil to get into my heart & mess me up but they read books that are the same level as the books i read it's like they think itis ok for them but not for me so in the end i am the sinner and they are still holy
