This "thing" between David and Jonathan was friendship. They were "kindred spirits" as narrated in the Bible.
You can read the whole book of 1 Samuel, but to be exact, chapters 19-20 mostly tell of their friendship.

OLD TESTAMENT. Jonathan was Sauls son. David was the king of the Jews at the same time period. But the story is spread out through seveal books. depending on which version you are using.
Its in the KJV and the New Jerusalem Bible. Check the back for persons in the bible and follow the books and Chapters that are listed . wouldnt hurt to write the verdes down to make them whole as far as events are conserened .

I have learned about that in my Art class in college then talked about it in my Bible literature class. The Art class said it was a very homosexual relationship. Then I read it and if you understand that back then when it was written that it describes how deep they were. as friends and no pun intendeed.

The love between them was a godly love between 2 male friends. It has nothing to do with sexual love.....leave to some people to pervert this....
