i believe the jihad is a process to cleans one's inner self of spiritual diseases through consistant prayer and meditation. Isn't that what jihad really is?

A few years ago when I was married, I had a really rough time of the relationship. [Hard to explain it... But I felt really torn apart]
It seemed I lost faith in the possibility of having a real nice relationship with a girl despite that it was the one thing I had always looked forward to, because I respected that we were married, and I felt I was copping this very hard!!

Anyway, what I wanted to ask was: The whole state of our relationship was affecting me so badly that I decided to go to a brothel!
I went in. There were girls sitting there; the lady asked if I wanted a girl - I nodded.
She said I needed to go out the back to prepare.
I went out to the back toilet, and decided I just could not do it!
So I shot out the back broken fence.

Can you give me some clues as to why I could not bring myself to intimately engage a girl when I so terribly badly needed the niceness of it in my life and needed just the sheer experience and reassurance of engaging a woman??

Jesus didn't let people touch him before his ascension.

John 20:17
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father.

Jesus permitted people to touch him before his ascension.

Matthew 28:9
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

Luke 24:39
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me.

John 20:26-27
And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side.

Can't the Bible make up it's mind?Or is it that the different authors couldn't agree on what fiction to make up?

The Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost?

Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Or Jesus?

Acts 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ.

Acts 8:16
They were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

Acts 10:48
And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.

Acts 19:5
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

in the christian sense then... be prepared to throw out all scientific, historical, and archeological facts that have concrete proof. And start believing in something that might not even be there. And that my friend is what you call Faith.

The Christian religion is Faith Based. Anything Factual don't matter. Any Question can be answered in the Faith Mode.

... oh that's how it has always been!
... believe or die heretic!
... I say she's a witch, lets burn her.

too many people with too much power over all people who need something to believe in. its just wrong.

Of course, I believe there is a God. Just not in the Christian Model.

shouldn't everybody?

How can people believe in mythical beings and invisible men in the sky? Religion is just so odd. I just don't understand how people can be so easily duped. Are people that afraid of dying that they have to invent an afterlife? WOW. silly isn't it. It's kinda along the same lines as hobgoblins, unicorns and vampires.

If god really exists, and if human is created by god.
Then, why god doesn't make human to be unquestionable accepting his/her existence at first place.
For examples,
Human survival skills. In order to survive, you have to believe in god. Leanring skills. In order to learn more things, you have to believe in god. Thinking skills. in order to think, you have to believe in god.
(If I am god, I would do that, that's a no-brainer.)

Obviously, in realistic human society, there are many people don't believe in god.
So, my last question will be:
Is the god created by human being?
If it is no, then answer my first question.
If it is yes, then what are the reasons to make you want to follow those dogma. Why not choose to be yourself.

If there is tell me how you think there is.
If there is a reference in the Bible, explain to me, if the person was saved and then tempted to fall away. Or was never saved.

Living in the Southwest, sometimes the only thing on the radio is country music and Christian radio preachers. As a Muslim, i like to listen to the preachers because i find so much similarity between Islam and Christianity. Do you think I'm being blessed by God for listening to them? I don't intend to ever leave Islam. Can Islam and Christianity find a common ground and become one?

Black holes, speculaion of black holes. The black hole can create other universes, where, into a fourth dimension? Is this provable and also maybe other dimensions too? Aren't there so many things that man just cannot prove, we are not completely there yet. Just was wondering.

i am not asking this because i am an atheist. i am not an atheist. if you are an atheist, this question obviously doesnt apply to you, but you can still comment about why you think others believe in god. i am just curious to see about the origins of peoples faiths.

try not to tailor words to a specific religion. we arent talking about why you believe in religion, we are talking about why you believe in GOD. why would you believe in god even if nobody had any idea what christianity was, or judaism, or islam. dont mention the words bible, koran, jesus, or mohammed.

what the previous qutation meant is that it was A MUSLIM WHO WARNED the British government about a possible terrorist attack

would you still be generalizing all Muslims to be terrorists even after this????
