Can't the Bible make up it's mind?Or is it that the different authors couldn't agree on what fiction to make up?

No, it can't. Because the books were written decades apart and frequently were passed down by oral history and not the written word as is common today. And we all know what happens to oral stories...they grow wilder with each telling. And more inaccurate.

As for touching Jesus...careful. He's ticklish.

I read in notes from a certain version of the bible that it should be rendered more like stop touching me /let go of me, she may have not wanted to let go of him for joy.

It doesn't say that Jesus ascended up to his Father after speaking with Mary, but anyone with common sense would assume he did. Because afterwords when he appeared to his disciples he allowed them to touch him.
