I'm sorry for you. Maybe he is ready to die and has made peace with God. See, the word Hell, just means mans common grave.

He is being sarcastic and referring to the claim that Pat Robertson and other screeching lunatics will be in heaven.

In which case, heaven would be hell for normal people. And, hell would be far preferable.

He probably does not believe in heaven, hell, God or any of those other fairy tales.

If you're referring to the Christian hell, I'd rather go there as well. If you read the Bible you'll see that God is a lot more evil than Satan, so if heaven and hell were to exist, I'd take my chances with Satan. The Judeo-Christian God is an asshat.

u are one idiot girl who asks this kind of dumb question on here. Hell is a lot better anyways. Who gives a damn about stupid heaven. You waste everyone's time by debating about this kind of issue. If he wants to go to hell he can do whatever he wants.

Heaven is where God is and hell is where he is not. Earth is where man is.

There are two expressions: Heaven on earth and hell on earth. So which is it? Both.

God, not man, judges.

When your father says he wants to go to hell, is he already there? Unfortunately, God, not man, judges. He may want to go where God isn't, but in the final analysis, he may just end with God anyway.

Most of the time when we feel God has abandon us, it means we have lost our focus. God is there but we do not feel his present.

God is spirit. We worship him in spirit and in truth. Do you think your father can do that?

God, not man, judges. So don't worry, God usually get things right. So your father longs for hell, but it really isn't his decision. His beliefs, his actions, his life is what God judges.

Answer: God, not man, judges.

Don't worry about it. Heaven and Hell are nothing more than different states of mind.

dear every man on this earth will first go to hell where he'll pay the price of his deeds and then go to heaven for eternity.

but ur father saying that sounds quite strange. please speak to him in a calm atmosphere and get to know the reason why he says that. once u know the reason u'll get the key to the reason too.

and make ur papa understand that cursin himself is also a sin. and no man who loves God should not curse any one esp near and dear ones, and most important it shouldnt begin with him.

may God bless u.

Amanda P,
The reason why your dad does that is because he didn't inherit his brains from your mom like you did! Aren't you blessed!

Now is when you go by yourself and close your door, and thank God that you are not thinking like your dad. Remember that everytime you hear him say things like that.

Sometimes it's just good to keep quiet, and let the foolish ones talk themselves into holes.

Because heaven sucks, hell is going to be so much better.

Ask him why...Maybe he just can't stand the idea of having to FOREVER worship a god so full of hatred that it would Intentionally create evil and implement it to the murder of its' own son... Or to have to worship a juvenile god that terrorizes and tortures FOREVER an independent mind... or worship a god that demands worship when it should be so far advanced as to not submit itself to such vain-glory, or to submit himself to a god that commands genocide, and the problem grows...
